These are one of the best tie down straps I have used. It is so easy to adjust the tension. the hooks are the perfect size for the kayak. The ratchet tightens easily with just a pull on the cord. I haven't had them long enough to know about the durability but for the intended use, they look great.

I have similar rope ratchet sets from Thule and Yakima, these seems to be nearly as good and considerable less cost. The rope used is slightly smaller diameter and lower quality, and the tag ends seem to fray more easily, but these are more reasonably priced. I use the Thule set to secure the bow of the kayak and these for the stern. The supplied rope is plenty long for the task. ... show more
