Ordered this for a 30+ mile multiple day kayaking trip and it held up extremely well. Very comfortable compared to the sad padding on my kayak's seat. Not too think where it throws off your center of gravity (for my sit-in, at least). We got some substantial rain our only full day on the river and the seat got wet but dried very quickly.
