Great paddle. this is a nice long paddle, which I prefer. I am concerned more about length than anything else since, when I've used shorter paddles, the paddles scoop water that drop on my lap when changing sides. I hate that and I'm surprised ANYONE prefers smaller paddles. Unless you're a small kid on a small kayak, that is. However, I've used adult paddles that are shorter than they should be. Now, when I pick a paddle from my paddle stock, I look at length more than anything else. Is the paddle as long as my blue paddle? YEs? I can use it. No? I'm not trying it. Anyways, this one is nice and long, and adjustable if you need a few less inches. It is easy to hold, floats, and is light weight. I find it really comfortable to use. Cuts the water nicely. I haven't added any extra grips and I do have to change hand positions once in a while, but I'm pretty pleased. Recommended. ... show more

This is a long (91.7”) lightweight (2.4 lbs.) kayak paddle that will really help me move through the water the next time I can use my stand up paddleboard. I like that it can float. I probably wont use the included leash, although that is a nice feature. There are three angle settings. I find the neutral setting works best for me. A more aggressive setting is possible if in rough water. A less aggressive setting might be helpful for a newbie or if you are on a calm lake. The rubber drip guards on mine were both deformed upon arrival. Its really not a deal breaker for me, but I’d prefer it not be deformed. The paddle size, shape and drip-stop feature are all well thought out and implemented. The whole unit seems strong, light and easy to hold. Very smooth hand contact surfaces and a large enough diameter to allow paddling for hours without hand fatigue. I’m excited to use this as soon as the weather permits. Recommended! ... show more
