These bags are indeed real leather, and a perfect size both for daily carrying of one's essentials and taking out for evening. There are ample pockets and dividers making the bag very functional. However it must be noted that the "wine red" color is not a pleasing burgundy as shown, but a FIRE ENGINE red. A "Taylor Swift Lipstick" red. An "Eighties Leather Jacket" red. From other reviews it appears that color accuracy is a problem across several of the colors - so perhaps stick with the black version of this purse to be certain of color. There was also a very strong odor with the bag, likely from processing chemicals, upon opening. It has dissipated after a few days of airing out, but something to note for those sensitive to odors. ... show more
