I didn’t purchase this case with high expectations. I had anticipated it being a pretty case, not a highly functional one. It’s prettty cheap feeling. I’ve never purchased an anything from Kate spade, and I figure phone cases aren’t their specialty, so they aren’t going to be SUPER high quality but for $50 I expect a LITTLE more effort. I guess you’re paying for the name? Or just the sheer coolness factor of the case. Because it IS cool. Which is why the cheaper quality plastic, or being able to see finger prints on the back isn’t a deal breaker for me. As others have said you can see your greasy lil finger prints all over the back :~) I was concerned at first about the waves obstructing any buttons or getting tired of the way they felt but no issues there. Cutouts are perfect and it actually feels really nice in your hands. 😌 I clean my cases frequently with mild soap and after only a week and a half of using this case the edges are a lil dingey looking. I cleaned it again to make sure I wasn’t trippin. Nope. This thing absorbs dust, lint, whatever QUICK. It’s only *slightly* so far. And I likely only noticed because I rotate & clean them frequently. my worry is how much longer before it’s actually unsightly. Something to consider if you plan to use it daily. & don’t expect it to save your phone from a gnarly drop either. You MIGHT get lucky. But I wouldn’t give it ALLL your trust. ... show more
