  • INTEGRATED LINE COUNTER The built-in line counter tells you how much fishing line you are adding to your casting reel or spinning reel. The Kalibrate makes it very easy to evenly split a spool of line between two reels, no more putting too much line on one reel and leaving yourself short on the second reel. The Kalibrate is also ideal for adding the correct amount of backing on a spinning reel or on a fly reel.
  • Durable Material The KastKing Kalibrate is molded with tough amorphous polymer material which is resistant to heat, chemicals, and impact. On key components we use durable thermoplastic material which possesses a high degree of mechanical strength, toughness, and impact resistance.
  • PATENT PENDING LINE SPOOLING TOOL The innovative KastKing patent pending line spooler design is simple to use and can spool both spinning reels and baitcasting reels without line twist. The 3-position clamping system can be adjusted to fit nearly any size rod (0.150 to 1.0 inches in diameter) and tension bands can be adjusted to apply the ideal line tension during the spooling process.
  • NO LINE TWIST The design allows fishing line to come off your filler spool and directly onto the reel spool without any line twist. On a casting reel, the line comes off the top of the filler spool, through the counter, and winds onto the top of a casting reel without changing the coiled memory of the line. For a spinning reel, the line is un-coiled from the filler spool, through the counter, and coiled onto the reel spool. The line naturally coils onto the reel without any twist in the line.
  • SPOOLING MADE EASY Place the tension band on a spool of line, clamp the Kalibrate to a rod, using the threaded t-handle mount spool of line on the tool (maximum spool size 3.5 wide by 4.5 diameter), attach the fishing line to the reel spool, and fill your fishing reel with your favorite fishing line. Instruction cues on the Kalibrate act as a quick reference to ensure your set up is correct for spinning and casting reels. This fishing equipment is the ideal fishing gift for men and women.

I have gone through I cant tell you how many of these spooling machines. Some work better than others, but what I can say is this one is the best. Puts great tension on the spool to make a good spool without the line being to loose on the spool. Certainly read the directions before you use to make sure you are setting up right.     • once you figure it out, its easy.
When you first go to use it, it takes more than one adjustment to get it spooling correctly. I can't be the only one to realize to late that the first thing you need to do is slip the line thru the hole in the KastKing rubber line holder then feed the line thru the first eyelet on the reel. If your adding new line to line already on the spool, now's the time to do it. If your completely adding new line nows the time to add your new line and tie it to your reel. that's just a couple of things that you have to do before you start messing with the actual spooler. Used this to spool some braid onto a couple of poles. Loved having the line counter so I knew exactly how much of the spool I used and how much was left when moving to the next rod and reel. Works great for both spinning and bait casting reels.

I fish recreationally mainly in freshwater lakes and unfortunately, not as often as I'd like so I wasn't sure if I needed something like this. Ended up getting one to try it out. The instructions have good pictures and instructions but you definitely need to read them to understand how to use this properly. All the functions worked fine. I just wish that it felt a little less cheap since it's all pretty much plastic. Practical use I can see with this is for dialing in what I put onto my reels and making sure I don't get the line twisted while spooling. I'm not really changing out lines on reels that often so only time will tell if the initial cost to buy this will give me enough utility long-term to justify it but overall, I like how it helps you be more capable of setting up without having to ask somebody to hold the spool on a pencil as you fill up your reel. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. I didn’t read the enclosed instructions but watched the videos for setup. I re-spooled 3 spinning reels and had no problems. I really like the foot counter feature. Also, not needing a helper or fumbling around trying to do it myself. I highly recommend this product. Paid $30 and an additional 13% off coupon. Good luck. Actually very functional for the price. Sturdy. The line counter slips a little if you reel up too fast but it is helpful when using multiple types of line on the same reel.
