Absolutely perfect for beginners and pro's alike! It is as CLEAR as any acrylic can get! I bought this and a jar of hard gel in another brand for better clarity for my clear tips. However, this was so easy (much easier than the gel) and SO CLEAR, that you cannot tell the difference between the two side by side! I wasted money on the hard gel, because I'll be sticking with only this. ;) As for the cure time - perfect. If it sets too quickly for you, then add a bit more monomer. But honestly, I'm a brand spanking new beginner, and this gives me plenty of time to work with it. Also, the smell - it's exactly what is expected. Though it has a slight sweetness to the scent that makes it a tad more bearable. I've worked with it, forgetting to open my windows, and after pouring out the remaining amount and washing the glass, the smell was gone in 30 minutes... So I don't know what other people's deal is about the smell. ... show more

The pink is not very pink it actually looks more like clear so you can see where the tip starts instead of it softening it into a gradual white... the nails do not look natural so you have to wear polish. It is a little gritty too. I wore them for a week before I had to take them off and start over but I think that was because of the tips they sent as a free gift. I just reapplied the acrylic, using my own tips and they feel a little more durable. Will update if I have the same problem with this set... The acrylic is very strong smelling too so be sure to use it in a well ventilated area... windows open if possible. ... show more

This product packs a big punch. Don't buy unless you are quite experienced with doing your nails. It is very difficult to use without professional knowledge. Be sure you also buy brush cleaner and wipe your brush between every nail and find a plastic Dixie disposable cup for the fluid. It will ruin any glass you use. so if your a beginner and your starting I def recommend not buying this. I wouldn’t recommend this monomer. If your thinking about doing nails buy a a small 8oz monomer by mia secret and a 2oz acrylic powder like mia secret practice and if you think it’s for you def keep on buying products. don’t go broke. the better the quality of the acrylic powder the better the application process. ... show more

The powder isn’t like others that will gloss when it polymerizes, unless it does after an extended period of time (I stopped waiting after a while). I bought this and mis secret and there is a major difference. This powder makes it near impossible for application. The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried doing my own nails with acrylics many times. I’ve used countless of other products and these products are without a doubt one of the best. I got recommended this product from a YouTube video and they didn’t disappoint. Instead of tips I used nail forms, but I’m sure application works just as well with tips, if not better. The product came well packaged and with plenty for multiple uses. It was also slow to dry, which helped in controlling the shape of my nails and did not have to be cured to harden. My only complaint is how strong the monomer smelled, but that’s inevitable. This product is a 10/10 for me! ... show more
