I've only had this a few days but it has provided SO much wonderful relief! It hurt pretty bad the first time I used it - my head and neck were really locked up. The recommendation is to lay on it for 10 minutes but no way I could have done that the first day. I can now go a little longer each time, and I am noticing so much more movement in my neck and shoulder. It's very lightweight, but solidly made. I was a little hesitant because it doesn't come in sizes and I wasn't sure it would fit my neck correctly, but I am 5'8" and it works fine. I REALLY want to LOVE this but I am a small, short person and this is obviously made for a giant. However, with practice and use of a yoga mat or non-slip pad, I can use this effectively. The effect is amazing and I don’t feel the need to go to a chiropractor or massage as often —I need to save that money for other things. I highly recommend for posture as well as pain issues. I have been dealing with all kinds of headaches, migraines, cluster headaches, tension headaches for years on and off. But whatever want to call it, my head hurt while awake and when going to sleep. I was taking pain relievers like candy. You know just dealing with it. I never went any further than self medicating. I have used Kanjo products since 2018. This is the first time that I have been dissatisfied with something that bears their name. There are no instructions on how to use this. I have tried every orientation that I can think of, and it just doesn't work. I have a neck injury thanks to a chiropractic adjustment gone wrong. I have been in huge amounts of pain, done hours of physical therapy without much improvement. When my neck and occipital muscles spasms I get horrible migraines. This cushion had made such a DRASTIC difference, it really is unbelievable. I use it every day and multiple times a day. My range of motion on my neck has increased, my neck and shoulder muscles are less tense, and my migraines have been reduced. When working or watching netflix, I place the cushion on the wall and lean on it while sitting. I can not recommend this cushion enough. It has helped so much! I'm having some ongoing pain in my neck/shoulder so tried this. I'm 5' 4 1/2," the exact height of the average American woman, and struggle to feel like I can get the nodes lined up right. If they feel they're in the right place for my shoulders, they feel wrong at the base of my skull, and vice versa. Suspect it would be better for taller people. Unclear whether the skull part should go under your occipital bone or on it. No instructions given. The foam is rock hard and painful but like others say, after you're on it for a couple minutes you get used to it as your body softens up. I do feel like this device has the potential to make your pain worse as well as to be healing, depending on if you have a node in the wrong place. I have a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders every morning. I use my Kanjo in combination with my Zamat. Kanjo hits all the right spots with it's big knobs and then I finish up with my Zamat for a good neck stretch. I need both and this routine has changed the way I feel throughout the day. My pain goes from a 10 to a 1! Life changing for sure! I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 only because i wish it was a tiny bit smaller.
