This helmet has had light use while my toddler rides in a child seat on our adult bike. There have been no accidents and yet the securing buckle has already broken. Very disappointed. Updating to mention that seller quickly offered to send a replacement helmet after contacting them. Will keep this review updated after receiving the new helmet. This helmet is comfortable, has a great adjuster that is easy to use and makes it snug. It doesn't feel nearly as bulky as many other kids helmets but still provides the safety we're looking for. We use it for biking and scootering, and it is a great helmet!

This was our 4th helmet buy in a year. My son is 6yrs old and decided he likes to bomb hills and find the steepest parts of the skate park to try out. As soon as he cracks a helmet or I see it isn’t fitting right it gets tossed, this is the first one we’ve bought him that not only fits correctly (doesn’t slide back and choke him when he face plants) but is actually comfortable for him when we tighten the dial. My 2 yr old rocks a schwinn toddler helmet with a dial and although I love it because it completely covers the back of his head, they didn’t have one the next size up so I will be buying another one of these once he outgrows it!
