This curtain rod is very sturdy and lightweight for the amount it can hold. The color (black) is shiny and has not chipped off yet. It came with all the necessary hardware to install it and is very stable after installing. It came with a double sided stickers that I ended up not needing.

The value for the money I paid was great. The material that the rod was made of was very classy looking. The ease of assembly was very helpful since I am a 60 year old lady. It was light weight and the screws were easily put in the wood. I loved the color it went well in my living room.

I like that it is actually blocking out the light. My husband likes its linen look and feel. I'm on the fence at the moment in regards to that. I'm also not sure about color, but we just moved in and see still in decorating mode.
