I've been using Melitta brand filters for years until I purchased a new Oxo coffee maker that came with Kalita #185 filters. Immediately you can notice the difference. They are firm and hold their shape. Clean up is simple. I don't have to remove the filter basket, I just pinch the ends together and throw them out. Game changer for me. The down side is the cost. I hate paying so much for these, but they work far, far better in my Kalita Wave than a smooth-sided Melitta #4 filter. During COVID-19 these were scarce, and I am glad to be able to get them again.

I'm using these with an Origami Dripper and have really like the coffee it makes. I can't say anything about how these compare to V60 papers on the Origami though, but I know I've found a way to make good coffee with these.
