I bought it to track my swimming. The only problem i have is that it slips off the display pretty easily and i am not sure how that effects the tracking. In the water, the display might slide and then freeze on something like "biking" while I am swimming. Then, I cannot get it to return to the swimming screen. It tracks your steps pretty accurately, though! I think it counts steps in the background. Vibrates when you've reached your step goal. It also keeps good time. I like the device BUT what I don't like is on day 1 of wearing it the device the little belt loop broke off. I now have a large paperclip keeping it on my wrist. Is there any way possible to get a new strap with that piece on it???

I've had this tracker for about a week now, and its going great. My fitbit died, I was afraid I was going to kill my Walmart one cause it said water resist outside, but the paperwork inside said it wasn't. I read a bunch of reviews and decided on this one, and ordered a different band, that i hope arrives soon. I haven't had much issue with the wrist strap irritating my skin, that was in a lot of the reviews I read. I still like my mesh strap better tho. I haven't compared the tpr's, but so far everything seems really accurate. I'm not as concerned with accurate as consistent. As long as I know it may be off, but it's consistently off, I can still use it. I saw a lot of comments in reviews about their trackers being 'off' or inaccurate, so far this one has been very close. I also really like that this one takes a continuous pulse, like my fit bit did. I really like that I can start and stop an activity also. The fit bit thought I could practically climb tall buildings, and stairs and I dont recall what all, in superman time. And I kept 'earning' badges for it all too, when in reality, I was actually just driving a school bus. ... show more

Doesn't do mostly anything it says it would do. Hardly ever get sms vibrations or phone calls. I took my watch off to see if the heart monitor worked lol it still gave a heart rate and I wasn't even wearing the stupid thing! So I'm not even sure it is giving an accurate or close to accurate reading. I can say it does pick up what time I sleep and wake up. The step measurement sucks. I am so sure by the end of the day I have done close to the expected amount of steps because I do cardio and walk alot during the day. The only consistent thing about this watch is telling what TIME it is. Waste of money..... ... show more

It counts steps as long as your arms are hanging but if you are carrying something or holding on to a tredmil handle bar it doesn't count those steps. The loop that holds the excess strap down broke two days after I put it on...In my sleep. So it was a bust i've been using a rubber band to keep it down. I have ordered 4 replacement bands and not 1 have fit this fit-bit. So I would recommend buying a fit-bit that comes with a few bands to begin with, or get something other than these synthetic rubber bands. Get a fabric or metal one, you might have better luck. And the instructions that say it notifies you when you get texts and calls...It has yet to do that. ... show more
