Awning side of camper faces east. There was always too much sun in the morning to enjoy my morning coffee. Easily installed screen in awning tube and unzipped lower portion of screen. Now I have the perfect amount of screen hanging down, and if a gust of wind or a sudden downpour of rain should come along, the awning can be quickly rolled up. This is a great product highly recommend!

I ordered this in November with the same excitement that I purchased my RV at the same time. However, as I live in the Northeast, I had to store my RV through the winter and wait to use this product. As we have taken our first maiden voyage south during Spring break, we were able to finally use this great shade. I have four young boys that are of course always complaining of the sun. How dreadful right? This shade was easy to install after opening the awning. It has a very nice zippered storage bag so you aren't just throwing it into the storage underneath when you are finished. We mostly found this helpful with bugs, because it kind of reduced a large opening of space for them to approach. The stakes have elastic and the shade does move a bit in the wind because the elastic will stretch and move with the wind. Overall this is a great accessory for the price point if you are camping or RVing in the south like we are finally getting the opportunity to!

This sunshade seems to be made of good quality material that should hold up to the elements. I ordered the sunshade in the winter so I won't get to try it out until next camping season. I also like that is came with a good storage case. The shade is easy to fold up and get back into the case. The hold down stakes seem to be a bit small. I might have to use some larger stakes to hold it down in the wind, but that shouldn't be a problem.

This is a great shade screen for my camper. It’s narrower than my awning, which is perfect. Each end of the part that goes into the awning frame has a couple of extra inches of beading to help feed it in. The shade pulled easily onto the frame as long as it was laid out straight as it was going in. Once in, it could be slid one way or the other as conditions require. I had two options for removal. One way is to unzip the shade about 2’ down from where it’s mounted and put away the bottom part while rolling the small section up with the awning. The route I took was to take it back out the way it went on and then folded it all back up to go back into the supplied carrying case. It comes with four plastic stakes to secure the bottom, along with four bungee cords with balls that go through the grommets to allow some movement due to light breezes. I appreciate the zipper going across the shade because in the event of a strong wind popping up, the shade can be quickly removed and the awning rolled up. Even though the shade is a mesh, the wind will catch it like a sail along with the awning and could cause some expensive damage. The rapid removal of the shade will permit the awning to be rolled up fast.

There's always that one site where you are directly in the sun, and your awning does nothing to block it at certain parts of the day. This sunshade is for those times. It doesn't completely block the sun, but you'll be surprised at how much it does block. Setup was a breeze (as long as you have something to stand on to reach the height of your awning). We didn't use the included stakes as I prefer different ones, but looked like they would do the job just as well. The addition of a storage bag was nice, but it was difficult to fold it back down to the proper size. Once you get that part figured out it should be a breeze the next time though. All in all, this is a great product.

This awning appears to be very good quality with a nice, heavy mesh fabric that should hold up for years. It includes a nice carry bag which will make it easy to pack up and stow away on travel days. I so wish we had owned one of these last summer when we spent the entire season in southern Utah while building our house. This would have allowed us to enjoy the outside a lot more instead of being trapped inside to escape the heat, and even more so, the sun! We will be using this heavily in the spring and I will post additional pictures of it on our motorhome when we do.

This awning shade comes in a bag it actually fit back into when refolded. The fabric is a fine mesh and coated which should help with durability. It attaches to the awning with the standard slide-in cable. This can be done by one person, but easier with two. The mesh blocks wind and provides shade. It is easy to see out of, yet looking in provides some privacy. The tie downs are strong bungee straps that hook easily onto the stakes. The shade screen provides some stability for the awning on breezy days as well.

Super easy to install, but it has a zipper that runs horizontal from one side to the other. I assume this is so you can detach the bottom half and roll the top half up with your awning. The style of our camper wont allow for that, so the zipper is a bit weird and inconvenient. The material used is super heavy duty and durable!
