First photo is how the unassembled safe came. This is really easy to build. I do wish that I had a second person to hold the door as I was building, but mostly can do it by yourself. The instructions were simple, but maybe too simple. Luckily there is a YouTube video on how to build that helps a ton! Super stoked to add this to my garage set up. Very affordable and sturdy! Not a heavy gun safe, which I hate having when I have to move. Just make sure it is bolted down and you will be safe and secure! Already recommended to 2 friends ... show more

Was kind of a pain in the ass to assemble and I wouldn’t trust it to keep anyone out who really wanted to get in. On the flip side it works great. Looks greats. Has the perfect fit and locks up.

First, this is NOT a gun safe, it's a relatively heavy duty cabinet with a really good door lock system compared to others. The distance between the bottom of the cabinet and the shelf/floor of the top box isn't quite tall enough to store rifles or shotguns with non-standard accessories. The two Axis bolt guns we have are too long with the recoil pads and muzzle brakes installed. Shotguns with 28" barrel also won't fit unless they are angled in the cabinet. Carbine length rifles fit fine, however. Wasn't especially difficult to assemble, but would advise that you honestly assess you ability to do such a thing. Instructions aren't particularly clear, and the process requires some thought. Holes lined up well and the unit is solid when completed. The shelf/floor of the top cabinet sits on brackets so you will need to figure out a method to secure it if that is a priority for you. I used a couple of angled brackets to keep it in place. Good tools are a must. Power driver for the screws and correctly sized wrenches/sockets. An assistant is also a good idea. This is far easier to get upstairs than a true gun safe of similar size. Tips the scales at less than 100 lbs, with most of that weight being in the door/frame assembly. The door and frame come assembled which is very helpful. There are some pockets on the inside of the door, but no padding. Also a smallish light which comes on when the door opens, but it's not of a great deal of use. Overall, it is a good value in my book if you understand the limitations of the cabinet. Not a fireproof safe, but seems to be more secure than the keyed metal cabinets out there. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I need a safe box to store my AR and hand gun and keep away from my kids. I have looked through 7-8 gun safe boxes from amazon and pick this one. The price is pretty good for this gun safe box, and the quality is a little bit out of my expecation, and also, it is very easy to assemble. It tood me 90 minutes to build it up by myself. The gun safe is pretty study safe and has plenty room for my 2 AR and 2 Glocks and Ammos. I am planning to get another AR and handgun in next few months.The digital lock is kind of slow open if there is emergency, so I plan to keep the key with me in most of the time. Don’t be fooled. This is NOT a gun safe. It’s a flimsy cabinet that is way more expensive than it’s worth. Decided to return and they are charging me $206 to send back to the seller. Not only that, it says you can return anywhere, yet I went to post office and FedEx and they all turned me away. Ended up at UPS where they told me I’d pay almost as much as I paid for the safe to return it. Don’t buy this unless you want just a regular cabinet with a fancy key code on the front to LOOK like a safe. ... show more

So bought this as my father has passed and I inherited some of his Shotguns and Rifles and thought the price was good to keep them away from my kids. Took me about 45mins to put it together and it is pretty sturdy. Only reason I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars is the fact it’s not truly a safe but more of a cabinet that you assemble otherwise it would be 5 of 5. ... show more

I bought this one in first instance to keep my firearms safe from my children and possible visitors. It is NOT Fort Knox and if someone really wants to break into it he/she will be definitely successful with the right tools and/or skill set. If you are looking for something that withstands those efforts you need to spend way more. Concerning assembly: it wasn’t too hard (even sometimes another hand would have been helpful). But I managed to do it on my own in round about 1 hour. Just don’t tighten every screw immediately. Attach the part by loosely tightened screws and then tighten them completely. I was able to program a code immediately and everything works like it’s supposed to be. Overall: if you are on a budget and want something that keeps your firearms safe from too curious hands then I can totally recommend this one. ... show more
