I picked this up as my first drone, and I'm pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get it set up and flying! The video was clearer than I expected - and so smooth when panning. Previously I used to try to get a lot of shots with a gimbal but this really opens many more options. Sidetone for people considering a drone - check out the app "Air Aware" as it will let you know where you legally can fly your drone (I can't at my own home unfortunately). I purchased this drone as a toy and in addition, use it to inspect roof. The drone is fully functional and has good controllability in the air. The camera resolution is adequate for my purpose. At this price it does meet all the needs.

Finally have tested this drone for almost two months. I waited two months because I’ve had drones not function as well after month two. Here we are still with a high functioning drone that has worked non-stop since getting it! Battery life is great, we can be outside with the drone for hours. Very easy to use and fly. Some other models me and my son would struggle with but not this unit. Options and controls worked better than expected. Love the range on this drone as it’s gone very far without losing control of the base or what we call the home feature. Camera quality is pretty legit! I think for a first drone the price on this one is perfect to gift someone without breaking the bank! ... show more

Reverse function didn't work. Wasn't rotating fast enough to bring it back forward. Wind was barely present but the drone was blowing off into never never land so I crashed it. Unable to retrieve due to not being able to locate in tall grass. Oh well, that's why I bought a cheap one.
