    • Longevity is qustionable.
Motor brushes arc quite a bit and this can be troublesome for many users, not to mention durability and longevity of the brushes remains to be seen. However, they do provide a spare set of brushes. I wanted to like this planner, but it was returned due to missing dust bag (that should have been included) and the fact that discharge port is weird size and will not easily accept hose from shop vac so get ready for a mess of shop floor. Now as far as functionality, unit performed well on test with uniform cuts, however the adjustment of blade depth is difficult without sure stops or clicks. In other words, pick a setting and measure each time for proper blade depth and square. But in all honesty, price seems ok for this quality of a tool. ... show more
