If you want your furbaby to be comfortable on a long road trip or even just everyday trips then I highly recommend this carseat! My Dog absolutely Loves her new carseat! Big plus too because it’s raised some so your pet can look out the window and see where your going. I really like that the seat belt went through one side of the seat and out the other to hold it down tight and didn’t just have some sort of clips that held it in place like some I have seen does. After you fix the seatbelt through and tighten it down, then just put the cushion back in and hook the tethers to your dogs harness and tighten them to wherever is needed and your dog will be good to go.😁 I was actually amazed that my girl didn’t try one time the whole trip to get out of her carseat because I had purchased one before that was made totally different and I couldn’t keep her from trying to climb out of it and finally just took it and put it up. But with this carseat, She was sitting in it like she was big stuff for a long part of our trip but then she started getting tired and as the pics show she stretched out and that was it until we would stop to get gas or at rest areas. But actually do recommend buying a size larger than what is recommended for your dog because although mine only weighs around 15 lbs, I really don’t think she would have had enough room to stretch her long legs out or would have been as comfortable if I had bought her a smaller size seat that her weight called for. But as far as the seat goes, yes, I would definitely recommend this carseat to anyone who wants their dog to be safe and comfortable at the same time. 😊 ... show more

Keeps my dog secure & safe during any kind of transport, which allows me to keep my eyes on the road. Very sturdy & I like the side pocket that allows for storage; I use it for storing her puppy pads, which I use as liners to help keep the the car seat clean after bathroom breaks (she's 14 years old, so bladder leaks happen). My dog is a 20 lb Shih-Tzu & I got the Large size. It's definitely big enough for her to lie down & stretch out in without toppling over, but I do also use the backseat arm rest to secure the side of the car seat even more since my dog does think it's fun to plop herself onto the side of the car seat from time to time. ... show more

My 20 lb Llasa apso needs to be able to see out the window.. otherwise he is all over the car, all over people's laps, borderline making driving dangerous. I ordered the large size seat, in Realtree camo color and it has truly been a lifesaver. *It easily seatbelts in. (Remove the cushion and feed the seatbelt through the hole on each side of the seat, snap the seatbelt in, put cushion back, and you're ready to rock n roll!) *It's nice and heavy-duty, holds it's shape perfectly. *My pup can watch the world go by in comfort and style. He has plenty of room; he can choose to sit up, or lay down for a little nappy. (Ladies, it also can double as a hair clip holder!! Lol sorry, I just saw that in my posted pic. 😂) Fits in the front seat of my 06 Toyota RAV4 like it was made for it.☺️ I have the backseat all dog hammacked up, seats covered, but it would easily seatbelt in the back too if my seats weren't already covered. Love, love, love this car seat for our pug! He's 9 months old and 17 pounds. What do I love about this car seat? It is very securely attached to the seat. It's thick and has a soft firm shape. He's very comfortable in it and it sits high enough directly on the actual seat of the car that he can see out. Our first car seat we bought for him did not sit directly on the seat of the car and attached at the head rest and around the back of the seat. It did lift him up to see out and was lightweight and collapsible but if the car bounced (I know, I know, when does that happen except in an accident) his first car seat might have thrown him up and jerked him back since he is hooked into it. Plus it had a metal frame which worried me if we did have an accident. This car seat is not the easiest to insert but it's NOT AT ALL hard or complicated. It's really simple. It has one slot you slide the seat belt through. It's not collapsible but we drive everyday to some greenway trails to walk so we just leave it setup. I have not had to wash it yet but it looks like the cover comes off fairly easily by unzipping it. Overall I think this car seat is worth every penny for comfort, ease of use, durability, and safety. ... show more

This is a lovely item. Paw Pal-- I ordered this item for my senior ShihTzu Hampshire (15 yrs). I wanted a booster seat that had a secure front so he would not slide out of his secure bed & so he would have a great view. For he enjoys peering out the window while we drive. He is medium or 16" long from shoulders to hind. He weighs 18 lbs & has rear leg weakness. I ordered this particular color to match my SUV interior & exterior. The Large is suitable for small breed ShihTzus & other smaller pet pals. Item-- I really wanted the grey interior but it was sold out. It is made of high quality materials & requires some assembly, foam inserts. See photo images for measurements 22"L x 20"x16"H. Return-- I returned the item because the measurements did not accommodate my paw pal. Also, the return process was cumbersome. So, check to make sure it is fulfilled by Amazon or you'll have to incur costs. The return cost was $10.00. The Amazon return process deducted $5 for the USP label & the UPS charged and additional $5 fee for printing the label. So, if you have an item not fulfilled by Amazon, you can drive to an Amazon location or print the label prior to going to UPS. That will save you $5. ... show more

I have two of these and my dogs love them! They are so sturdy and feel comfortable. My one dog will not leave it during car rides and we have travelled over 15 hours multiple times. She will only get out to get out of the car lol. It sits them higher up so they can look out the window and the large fits perfectly on my Chevy Suburban seats. A definite must have!
