The remote did NOT work. I attribute this to a dead battery which I will replace soon. In the meantime WELL WORTH the $$. Especially the $$ I saved !!! The only thing better than this "JYX Sound Activated Dicso Light..." would be TWO JYX Sound Activated Dicso Lights. Yes you will need a power pack-no problem-I just used the 1 we use for the cell phone. a NO BRAINER. I placed this on the bedroom windowsill. plugged it in & when my wife came out of the bathroom she looked around,laughed, said WTF & laughed some more. This price & this gadget is well worth the $$ for those smiles alone. The ENTIRE room was FILLED w/psychedelic light. Next time I'll have Iron Butterfly playing "In a gadda da vida" & "Stairway to HEAVEN". Get this & prepare to go "Back to the FUTURE" :) I'll put a pic up later. ... show more

It works okay it's just cheaply made what do you expect is a cheap price and like everybody says you get what you pay for and that is true in this case not always true but in this case is very true but it works I've been having enough for two weeks and no problems out of it cool peace out y'all hope it helped ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have this affixed to my pedicab and it's super bright. (See video/picture) The cable is like 6 ft long so I can it run along without it being in the way. I actually power it though a 12v charging block (portable phone charger) and it uses very little power.. like under 5% of charging block.. The price is legit too. Will definitely buy another if I need to. 10/10 ... show more

I love love love this product. I wasn’t expecting much but it delivered an extra special New Year’s Eve party. Everybody loved the lights. If you want something extra special for your next party you need this ASAP.
