This desk seems like it's pretty decently constructed. It wasn't too hard to put together, though you would be advised to have a drill with a philips bit because there are more than 20 screws you'll need to put in. The bit should stick out from the drill chuck by an inch or more because some of the screws are in tighter spaces. This desk uses only wood screws to attach to the wood. Other somewhat more expensive desks have metal holders for machine screws embedded in the wood, so the screws aren't going to wear away wood and come out. There's a giant mouse pad that covers the entire desk surface, which is nice. I got this desk because I wanted a large desk with casters, and it certainly is that. The wheels move smoothly. When I first got the desk, it refused to go higher than what it says is 100 cm (about 41 inches) so I wasn't very happy. But I fiddled around with it some more, and after a while it went up significantly higher (to about 48 inches, with the wheels on). I'm not sure why the controller stopped initially at 100 cm; that was confusing, and almost made me give a bad review. ... show more

This could be the best buy i ever got in Amazon and I must have Amazon delivering something to my house in average 5 times a week, often more. But this desk is great. I am not tall, so it is nice with how far down it goes. At the range time it goes really high to. It was easy putting together, just have to pay attention to lining up everything correctly and evenly. But great desk. Hope it lasts long term as it seems I will because it is sturdy.i like how big it is. I also got it on sale. There was no other one near that price and better than the rest ... show more

Putting this desk together was a bit of a challenge. The holes didn’t line up exactly. It took some effort. There were ZERO INSTRUCTIONS inside the box. It shipped as a box inside of another box which is good because the first layer of box was damaged. The box covering the desk was not damaged and nothing appeared to be missing except the instructions. So when putting this together, we literally laid it all out. Know where all your screws go. Most standing desk are small to medium size, after seeing the IKEA IDÅSEN and it's massive 63" surface I knew I wanted a larger desk, but did not want to pay the asking price (more than double what this Jwx L-shape cost). Desk arrived with clear instructions for assembly and all tools needed for assembly are included in the box, although a powered Philips screwdriver will help assembly time go faster. Using just the tools in the box assembly took about 38 minutes. All holes for screws are well machined. No struggle during assembly and the finished product feels very sturdy. The desk comes with a lot of optional accessories, cable ties (loose and adhesives) to keep things neat. It also comes with a headphone holder and coffee mug holder, which I opted to leave off.
