Description

The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justin´s patented J-Flex® Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the ¨Standard Of The West Since 1879¨.

  • Love the fit right out dof the box but…….
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Rugged Bay Gaucho
I was excited to see these boots available on EE (extra wide) sizes. I pretty much wear a size 11 across the board from Vans to dress shoes and boots. I was a little bummed to see that the boots that I wanted we’re not available in 11 EE. I had read some reviews that suggested the boots run a little bit large and that most people tend to size down so I took a chance on a 10 1/2 EE, so glad I did. The fit out of the box is comfortable but leaves room for break-in, instep is a bit more generous than Ariat for sure but certainly doesn’t feel overly sloppy, nice support across the top of foot. Heel feels nice does not slip with thicker socks that I would normally be wearing with boots. I am a hard to fit boot foot. I tend to have Fred Flintstone feet for those of you who remember who he is. Anyway couldn’t be happier. I got these boots after sending back two pair different Ariat work boots. I love my old Ariat work boots they’ve been a good friend. I don’t know what has happened to Ariat work boots lately, but they are running really small and just seem poorly made. Last comment is that the arch support is there it’s good for those with a normal arch. I tend to have a very high arch and these boots are going to be perfect to allow me to wear my arch support inserts so if you have problems with your arches, whether you have shallow arches or high arches, these boots seem very forgiving, and comfortable. Glad I took a friend’s advice and gave the Justin work boot a try. Only time will tell, but first impressions are I’m gonna’ like this boot very much. ... show more

  • Great Boot
Size: 11 Color: Rugged Bay Gaucho
This is a second pair of these for me. The last pair lasted 10 years and the only thing wrong with my original pair was the leather developed a hole in the crease. Very comfortable out of the box and a very durable boot.

  • Great boots -- Order smaller -- Outstanding seller
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Tan Gaucho
I first ordered these boots in size 12, which is my usual size. They were quite big. Although I loved the boots, I thought I needed to try a smaller size. I reordered the boots in size 11 1/2, and they were perfect. These boots are very comfortable, and they look great. This is my first time owning these boots, and I think I am going to love them. The seller, The Westerner, shipped the boots very fast. The first pair came in two days, and the next pair took four days, even though they were not Amazon Prime. The Westerner was also kind enough to accept the return of my first pair of too-large boots, even though I had ruined the box that they came in. I am very appreciative of their outstanding customer service, and will definitely choose to buy from them again. ... show more

  • Great work boot.
Size: 14 Color: Rugged Bay Gaucho
The size 14D feels a little roomy on the width, so I'll be using the thicker medium weight cushioned boot socks. Its plenty long, toes have enough room. They are a bit wider than my old size 14D Red Wing Pecos and about the same as my lace up Red Wings. They will need a substantial break in period for sure, but so far I'm happy with the fit and finish. Looks like the durability will be good, time will tell. These are a full height boot, you will need over the calf boot socks. Probably the cushioned western boot socks or at least the medium thick wool over the calf hiking socks. I started with the thin dry fit boot socks and the fit was too loose. I think they will break in nice with a thicker sock. ... show more

  • Decade boot
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Rugged Bay Gaucho
These boots are pricy but worth it. My last pair lasted me 13 years. I wore them anytime I was not working (evenings and weekends) . I was hesitant to spend the $ as my last pair was half the price yet that was a decade ago lol. I tired to order a pair of Arait boots. Super stiff . Sent them back . Ordered these . Perfect out of the box. Super comfortable even before break in. Highly recommended ... show more

  • Good quality work boot /Nine Year Update
Size: 11 Color: Rugged Bay Gaucho
I wanted a leather slip on work boot. The fact that these boots are USA made got my attention. Ariat was another considered brand. These are excellent leather. The comfort of these boots support the technology that went into the construction. You can feel the ground but with the right amount of padding that protects and supports doing work on various types of terrain. These boots are confidence inspiring when stepping on uneven ground and on top of debris. There is a break in period, of course. I am using a heavy sock. I have a pair of US made dress Justin Ropers in the same size. Two years from purchase. I love these boots and use a thick boot sock . By now they are well broken in, supple and soft. These offer the foot protection I was after for working around farm equipment and wood cutting. I feel stable and confident using these boots any use except where a lace up would provide be needed for walking on a an angled roof. Update, I have been wearing these boots for a year. These are excellent, durable, and well fitting, performing boots. I use thick wool hiking type socks. I have read these type of boots are designed to be worn with thick socks. The heel and foot bed has excellent stability. The leather quality is impressive. These boots are now very easy to walk in after having used the wetting and wearing break in method recommended. The boots look better having been worn than new. Three years using these boots. They continue to deliver the protection and support I wanted in a work boot. About every six months I clean and apply a generous amount of saddle soap, air dry then brown polish. The soles and heels show little wear. Of course if I used them everyday they may be worn out by now. ... show more
