Yes, the packaging is terrible. Plan on opening the package up in a plugged empty bathtub and then sweeping the beads into a Tupperware. Maybe the unicorn case can be repurposed as a jewelry holder? Fun to make bracelets with the beads and string. I ended up putting the beads into the unicorn case with a pair of tweezers which was a good way to ruin a morning and if the kid bumps the case over than it’s a real waste of a morning! ... show more

Bought this as a gift for an elementary school child who loves making bracelets. The package was appealing and had all the contents with instructions. However, it was extremely difficult and frustrating to use because the cording kept coming out of the templates, even though the punch ( stylus) was used accurately. Several adults and older kids as well, tried to make a bracelet but to no avail. The birthday child kept going at it but eventually even she had to give up. So very disappointing. Now I cannot even return it as we used different cords and cut them shorter etc. We even looked at You Tube in a last ditch effort to make this work. So very disappointing ... show more
