The smaller size fits perfectly, is comfortable, stretchy, and is great for gardening as they breathe well, don't get caught on branches/vegetation as I'm walking, and enable me to fit into gardening boots without the fabric bunching at my ankles and calves. For reference, I am 5 foot 2 inches and although they are a tad long (as expected for my height) they don't really bunch up. I totally love these leggings! These are not sheer at all. I didn't rate that because the star system made no sense for me for that. They fit perfectly for my size. Originally, I bought them for Halloween so I could wear them as a witch under a dress and be warmer outside passing out candy. I also did not have a pair of all black leggings, so they were for beyond Halloween as well. I love the material you can bend and stretch in any way and the material does not pull and hurt like some do. They look very nice under a long tee-shirt or sweater, and they are warm enough for the coldest Halloween but comfortable for inside as well. I will definitely buy these again. ... show more

The fabric is a nice weight, fells good, is stretchy and comfortable. I sized up as I prefer my pants to be a bit loose, good decision. I am 5’3” and these pants are barely long enough.

The material seems ok, they run very small for size label. Ordered size larger than needed as I like them a little less snug. Too tight. EDIT: OK, I wore them once more as base layering on a really cold day. They were good, so I did it again, and again! I started out not liking these at all, but after a few wears/washes I am a fan! I used to buy these via One Hanes Place and have always loved their quality & durability and the fact that they are not too long. The last pair I bought from Amazon, while still comfy and durable through farm life and many washes has a strange fit. The crotch is super long. I have to roll the waist band up or the crotch sits between my legs vs at my crotch. Not sure what's going on with the pattern making for these, but I hope they improve it. Otherwise, I love them. These pants are seethrough! Comfy, yes. But, not recommended to go out and about in. UPDATE: I've worn these pants twice and the seem is coming apart.
