This is my first super automatic coffee machine which has exceeded my expectations. I’m in my mid 70’s and have consumed many thousands cups of coffee and coffee drinks over the years. I have brewed cups at home for 50+ years primarily using my technivoum mocamaster machines and various pour over techniques, Moka pots and French press. I decided to try a bean to cup machine to simplify my life and counter space. Wow, the JURA E8 has exceeded all my expectations. The options for drinks are great, have tried all the drinks for fun and they are all as advertised and taste great!!! The machine is very straightforward and easy to use. There are some concerns with reviews online regarding the cleaning, I really appreciated the cleaning routines, especially for the milk drinks. As a physician cleanliness of the milk circuit is very important to me to prevent any contamination of the milk in the machine and mechanism to minimize risk of illness from contaminated milk. The price of the Jura cleaning supplies is well worth the cost to keep the machine insides clean, keeping the cups tasting fresh and minimizing any medical concerns. I have used the machine daily for the past month drinking 2-5 cups daily. My grandchildren love the frothed milk with some sprinkles or flavoring and ask every time they come over now. Friends visiting really enjoying the different drink choices as well. I really love the options, consistency of drinks, and convenience. I am now a Jura homeboy. The vendor “Lighting and Locks” is an authorized Jura dealer offering excellent prices and qualifies for the Jura factory warranty. The shipping was extremely prompt, and arrived right on time!     • Beautiful machine but very expensive

I do love this Jura model E8, (which I bought new) but it requires expensive Jura cleaning products to maintain it on a regular basis. And the machine was already expensive enough. I previously had an ENA 8 refurbished and sent it back because the coffee wasn't anywhere near hot enough. This E8 is a definite improvement but still would like the coffee to be hotter for the price of the machine. I love that I just push a button and out comes my beverage of choice. Also love that it prompts you to do various maintenance when required. Very intuitive machine. I've had it 3 months now and now it needs a whole system cleaning. I'm only one person and drink only one cup a day so a larger family of coffee drinkers would need the whole system clean a lot sooner. Overall pleased with my purchase. ... show more

I have no idea if this device is God's gift to coffee and espresso drinks. I may never know, as I was unable to even use it once. I was sent a damaged open box. I do know this: Jura may very well have brilliant design and engineering people to make this, but they completely ignored the package engineering. For a machine which can really only be purchased and shipped (I could not find a company near me which had them in stock), the packaging is laughably bad. I ordered my first one from Amazon. An outer amazon box was around the Jura package, which had clearly been already shipped somewhere (CA), then returned to another state, shipped to another state, then shipped to me. When opened up, broken plastic bits fell out. I successfully returned it for a refund from Amazon. I decided to try again, buying from another big online store. This time it was shipped without an enclosed Amazon box since it wasn't from Amazon. Sure enough, the same part (water container on the side) was shattered due to impact during shipping and handling. Also sent back. The shipping box is thin cardboard, flush against both sides of the plastic machine. No styrofoam, packing materials, not even an air gap. Any impact during shipping is guaranteed to damage the plastic machine. There is a top and bottom cardboard standoff which protects the top and bottom of the machine. Maybe I'm unlucky. Maybe it was due to Holiday shipping craziness. But c'mon guys: you're shipping a $2k+ precision mechanical device in a box which you may have spent $1.25 on. As a result, two of your machines are in a landfill now as a result of being returned and damaged. It makes no sense! ... show more

If you like milk drinks then this is for you. We only use illy coffee beans in it. Please remember this machine takes a lot of water! It cleans and rinses, so get ready to fill it every day. The coffee is 10000 times better than Starbucks. We had a Nespresso for 10+ years. The coffee wasn’t hot enough. This machine has very hot coffee. The coffee grinds come out like hockey pucks. Which makes it nice to add to your garden or house plants. It was worth every penny!!!!!! She’s fancy ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to receive my new Jura E8…I’ve had a Jura E8 for the past 17 years…yes 17 years, finally it gave up, as it should…and it was time to invest in a new one. Although expensive, it’s worth every penny. Hopefully this one will last just as long. The coffee is perfection! This is NOT my first Jura. After 15 years and a couple of repairs, I decided to invest into a new machine. The set up was more difficult, the book not helpful and You Tube we weren't looking at the same menu. I called Jura several times over 10 day and left message, no call back. I was just about to send the machine back and I came across Jura's email. This was the last resort for me. I got a call back the next day and since I didn't have the machine in front of me, I asked for a call back the next morning. The customer service rep was awesome, called back as promised, and helped me to set up machine. I didn't know that they were different models Jura E8. Super happy now. ... show more
