I love the smoothness and color that suits the skin very well. But if you have an acne scar that you want to cover, I would recommend the cushion of Jung sae mool (it’s sooooo nice for who have acne scar like me). This foundation is lightweight and doesn’t cover very much.

My consistent complaint with Korean foundations is that there is a complete lack of anything resembling a shade range and that holds true here as well. I like the texture when I was putting it on, it feels nice on the skin, but I did find it settled into my fine lines and accentuated them more than I care for. The color was a bit too yellow for me as well, as a fair, cool toned person. I'm never a fan of the little applicators they provide, but I almost feel like the only way they apply correctly is with said applicators so that's another challenge. However it makes me look sallow, and up close it looks dry, almost flaky, and shows up every fine and wrinkle I have, including some I never noticed before. They leave a nice smooth finish. It is not. powdery or cakey? The scent was not too bad. It has very fair coverage. Found that the match was a very good match.

    • A little goes a long way

The foundation is thick and provides good coverage with just one pump of the liquid makeup. A sponge is provided and instructions are included for how to best apply the makeup using the sponge. I found this helpful because first dab with fingertips looked cakey on my skin, but the sponge blended it more evenly for a smoother finish. It definitely conceals my red undertones. It lasts for hours without fading, so well I had a hard time washing it all off, which is my only reason for deducting a star. However, that could just mean I need to find a better makeup remover. The product is a bit expensive, but only a small amount is required for the whole face. It also comes in a glass jar to preserve its life by keeping it more sterile than makeup stored in plastic.
