This is a great "puzzle saver." A puzzle "in progress" can be neatly covered and stored away under a bed or sofa. This works very well to store puzzles that aren’t finished yet. Grandchildren started the puzzle and want to finish later. With this board, I can put the puzzle away, not lose any pieces and not have to take it apart. I can store it under the bed, out of the way.

I have a cat and needed something to keep him out of a puzzle when I'm not at the table working it I also wanted something so I could move the puzzle when the table is needed for other things. This filled both of my needs. I didn't know I would use the sorting mats but I really like and use them. Just be aware that not all 1000 piece puzzles will fit it. Your work space are is 30" x 21". I just make sure I check the completed puzzle size before buying it. I have limited space but there is a larger version that holds up to 1500 pieces if you have the space and don't want your options limited. Anyway, I like mine and hope it lasts. ... show more
