I tested this product for ice Retention in different temperature conditions, 1st condition was at home with no ac on in the home the temperature was 83 to 89 degrees Fahrenheit. the ice retention was 22 hours with only a few solid pieces of water. 2nd condition was in a vehicle the cabin temperature was 95 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. The ice retention was 7 hours at 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 5 hours at 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Overall this product does keep things cold and hot. This product is only for grocery store shopping and fast delivery to a home or business. it will keep things cold and hot enough to make it to your freezer or refrigerator after being in your vehicle. I previously bought this insulated bag in Grey. I was so impressed with it, I bought a second one in Blue. I had been using a different insulated bag for a few years & it was becoming worn & the zipper started to fail. I replaced it with this bag. After one shopping trip, I knew it was a good choice. I put some very heavy items in it - a huge watermelon, a bag of apples & soft drinks. In fact, I could barely carry it into the house & I was concerned about the handles holding up. I am not easily impressed, and I don’t replace what isn’t broken. My husband Dennis surprised me with this new bag to replace our weary insulated bag from circa 2000 Whole Foods. The new Creative Green Life bag is far superior, a true market bag. It has a handy slip in pocket on the outside. The zippered bag’s inside is fully lined, easily cleaned inside and out. It is well made, well designed to distribute and support weight, and address future “wear” including the bag’s bottom. I didn’t fully appreciate the “convertible handles” until I re-imagined some of the pitfalls of my previous bag. If one is carrying a large flat objects, a large casserole, frozen or warm carry out pizzas; slide them in, zip it up, use the upside handles to lift and carry flat. I was experimenting and was even able to use it as a backpack but I have no idea if that was intended, or practical for others. The bag expands to carry but not squash a lot of produce, etc. isn’t flimsy, or insecure in terms of carry weight. I like the addition of the top curved handle, very much too, it makes it easy to grip while loading the bag. I had not asked what the new bag cost until now, really, I know I imagined a more costly price tag, and didn’t want to know, again, really. I am visualizing cooler bag envy in my future! I won’t hesitate to provide more than “my husband got it on Amazon” but will show those who are curious, the small, discreet brand ID “Creative Green Life.” ... show more

I was looking for an insulated bag for grocery shopping. What sold me on this one is that you can turn it sideways, put a large lasagna pan size casserole dish in it, and the straps adjust to let you carry it easily. No more cardboard boxes with towels stuffed in to transport pot luck dishes.

I use this for food delivery and it works amazing! It keeps food super hot and works great for cold items such as ice cream and bags of ice. The material is high quality and seems very durable as well. The insulation in this bag is superior to all cooler/hot bags I’ve used. When storing hot food in the bag it gets very hot quickly and stays hot which I love the most! It is very easy to wipe out with sanitizing wipes as well! This bag is great except that if you dump ice in it, it will leak. It’s not made for retaining melted ice, so if that’s your plan, ensure you’re putting ice in ziplocks or something. Great otherwise. Straps are very sturdy for full heavy packing.
