I bought the juicer for my family members to eat more vegetables. This juicer is a good size that I don't need to cut the fruit and veg to small pieces. The separation of fiber makes the juice very enjoyable to drink. I have reused the veg fiber by cutting it and mix in the bread dough. This way, my family eat the veg fiber in disguise.     • Love having this juicer!
I’m reviewing "Juicer Machine, 1200W Juicer with 3" Feed Chute for Whole Fruits and Veg, Dual Speeds Centrifugal Juice Extractor, High Juice Yield, Full Copper Motor, Easy to Clean, BPA Free" which I received via the VINE program. I make a healthy turmeric/ginger/orange 'concoction' each week. Since turmeric stains everything it touches, I noticed my blender starting to stain and I didn't want that. I saw this juicer and thought it would be just the thing to use exclusively for my ginger turmeric shots. I used a combination of oranges, a lemon, and a large quantify of turmeric root and ginger root, that I had washed to get all of the excess soil from growing. The key is to fill the hopper first, then turn on the preferred speed, my ingredients called for high speed. Once the motor has spun up to its highest speed, I started to gently press down the ingredients in the hopper to get them to descend into the cutting disk. Immediately I saw and felt the pulp get spun out to the discard bin and the juice started to fill the juice container. I would make sure that your ingredients are cut into manageable chunks but that's my personal preference, I added most of the turmeric root whole and only cut up my oranges and lemon. The instructions do say to remove the seeds and that would be a good idea as it will then spin those out into the housing on the pulp side. I did then strain the resulting juice just because I don't like a lot of pulp in my juice, but the amount of pulp left wasn't bad. I'm really happy with this juicer and am looking forward to using it each weekend and keeping my blender from turning orange! ... show more

    • Great value for what you get!
We decided to upgrade from our old juicer which we had been using for years. While we had our eyes on a few high-end juicers, they were not within our budget. So, I decided to give this juicer a try and compare it with my old one. To my surprise, I found it very easy to take apart, rinse its parts, and put them back together - something that I struggled with in my old juicer that required a special tool. Moreover, this juicer is much cleaner to use overall. Unlike my old juicer which would randomly spit juice out of the spout and onto the counter, this one comes with a container that collects all the juice easily. The only thing I noticed was that this new juicer produced slightly less juice overall from the ingredients I usually used. However, this can be explained by various factors, such as the water content of the actual fruits and vegetables I used on that particular day. Overall, I think this juicer is a good value and a great starter juicer for anyone who wants to get into juicing but has a limited budget. I highly recommend it. ... show more

    • A wonderful surprise!
This is my first juicer. So, I write this review with no ability to compare, but also with no expectations. My first impression was "lots of parts." None unnecessary, and it was easy to get them all in the right place in the right order. I did have some trouble getting the strainer basket out of the machine. I found that using the handle end of the cleaning brush could be wedged under one side and grabbing the other side with my fingers made short work of the removal. At the rate at which it spins a tight fit is reassuring. To have that launch itself would be a mess. It is much easier to clean up than I imagined. Plain water washes most of the residue off. Vegetable matter usually isn't greasy and does not stick or leave residue behind. It takes a bit to scrub the grinding and straining part but not a lot and what I missed will dry out and fall off. If you are a real clean freak, follow the dishwasher directions. It has a safety interlock on the switch so you can't turn it on if the working parts are not locked down. I tested it and it passes. Overall, it is better than I expected, so I've been pleasantly surprised. I juiced carrots and apples. The dogs loved the carrot pulp which is healthy for them. As for the apple juice, I was without doubt the best I've ever tasted. Now I need one of those countertop compost jars. From the beginner point of view, I highly recommend this, not so little machine. I love mine. I hope you found this helpful. If you did, please let others know.     • Can not fault the machine for unreasonable expectations.
This is my first juicer machine and I had no clue how much fruit and vegies are required to make a single glass of juice! Wow. To juice daily would be a commitment in both money and space for the fruit. The machine does extract fluids well and place the solid material over in the waste bin, but you do not toss a couple pieces into the chute and fill a glass, it takes more than I had ever expected. Cleaning the stainless strainer/shredder takes some effort with the included brush, I am not sure if all juicers end up packed pretty solid after use or not. Again, I am not going to fault the machine, I had no idea how this all works and my expectations were likely not how reality works. It does the job, does it quickly and gives you a quality glass of juices. It does what is expected. ... show more

    • First juicer experience
This is my first juicer experience. Overall, I'm really impressed with the juicer in how quickly it processes the fruit into juice and separates the pulp. My biggest complaint is it is pretty loud and does take up a fair amount of counter space. The orange juice that I made was really delicious. I just wish that it didn't take so many oranges to make the juice since it takes so much time to peel oranges. Still I would recommend this juicer as the cleanup was fairly easy and I love that all of the removable parts are dishwasher safe! ... show more
