My kids love it! They jump, move around and stay confused on the light. Helps them with concentration. Really easy to set up and button sensitivity is working good. I just had to put batteries in. There are 5 levels based on your kids ability. I use level 1 and 2 for my 2 and 3 year old kids. It is a little slippery so i would suggest no socks. I ordered this for my kids ages 2 and 5 for some indoor entertainment. It took a little bit for my 5 year old to understand, but soon he started to understand how to play it. There’s 5 different modes of play and the instruction booklet explains it, but not very well. It seems like they tried to get google translate to translate the instructions into English from the original language. It’s not that hard to understand the different game modes though as you play it. The buttons are pretty sensitive to your feet, but you have to put some force if you happen to try and press it with your hands. Perhaps it responds better to weight? It can get pretty loud, however the minimum volume isn’t very minimum. It’s great for playing it during the daytime though. The automatic music choices aren’t the greatest, but I guess that’s where the BT capability comes in so that you can play your own music. It was easy to set up and link with my phone. My greatest disappointment is how easily your foot can press on the BT link button while you’re playing, especially when your kids are super active and when they press on the BT option, it ends the game automatically. They should have made the BT button a bit more discreet or harder to press accidentally. Nonetheless, it’s still a fun game for the family and on a rainy day. ... show more

This dance mat has been a surprise hit at my house. The best part, if you get sick of the preloaded song (you will), is that you can bluetooth your own music. The mat is pretty easy to set up and intuitive to use. This is fortunate because the instructions are a poorly translated hot mess disaster. If you enjoy reading poorly translated instructions in a calming flight attendant voice as I do, you can have a lot of fun while your children dance the night away! Different play modes are fun. My kids prefer the one where lights flash and they have to follow along. There is also a memory game mode and a drum sound mode they enjoy. They use it on carpeting and it does not slide around on the floor when they jump on it. The mat is not even terribly difficult to fold up and put back in its box. This mat will, in the immortal words of the instruction booklet, "Make players completely dissolve into the music." ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Every button and pad on the mat works as it’s designed to. There are 5 modes so it doesn’t run out of novelty too quickly. Kids had fun trying to get high score. As an adult I also had fun and broke out some sweat. The things I found challenging is I had to look down on the panel all the time and it really make my neck sore quickly. The dance moves really aren’t rhythmic moves, it’s more stepping on light patterns, not like arcade dance machine where there’s s sense of choreography. The media could not be loaded. Kids and adults alike enjoy it, and can be quite the work out! Easy to set up, and easy to play. Only thing about it is every time you turn it on, it asks you to pick a language, and for young energetic kids, they don't have patience to wait for that and start choosing the wrong language. I got this for my 6 year old daughter to get energy out in a new fun way. I was really impressed with it! It has several different game modes and levels. The stock music it comes with is kind of cheesy but my daughter still uses it at times. However, she much prefers when I pair my phone to the mat using the Bluetooth function and put on some Beyonce or Kidz Bop for her to dance to. I would say this is probably better for slightly older kids or kids who have pretty decent coordination. My daughter isn't the most coordinated and can be a little wild in her movements, it's left to some frustration with accidentally changing the mode or volume when she didn't mean to. But she loves it and I love that it keeps her busy and active, she'll sit and focus on playing with this for 30 minutes to an hour at a time and gives me a break from answering questions :) I would highly recommend this dance mat! ... show more
