I bought this for a kid whose only birthday request was “a pink purse with stuff in it”. This one was a GREAT choice. It came with lots of items to play with and it’s been a favorite! The only cons are that the phone only plays 4 very loud noises, which the kids love but the parents do not, and it had a VERY strong chemical smell. I recommend opening the box a few days ahead of time and opening each individual item and setting up the purse and letting it air out before giving it as a gift. This is a great little play set for a toddler. It comes with several items including a play mobile phone and remote key fob. You'll need two AAA batteries for the phone but the key fob comes with a battery. The phone sounds are pretty loud. As other reviews mentioned, the music the phone plays is a little distorted but, for a toddler, that really doesn't matter. The key fob has the sound of someone locking/unlocking the car door. It's the sound that you normally hear coming from the car so that's cute. The play makeup is great as well since there is no mess to be made so allowing them to play with it without supervision is possible. The purse is actually pretty good quality and feels like an actual purse. We picked this up for our cousins little girl and I'm sure she'll be thrilled with it. ... show more

I love this little set of purse items! My 4-year-old girl also loves it. I am happy that the make-up is not real because she loves to pretend to put make-up on everyone; I don't have to worry about stains on furniture or clothes, or to have weird colors on my face! The other accessories are a lot of fun too. Her most fave is the little cell phone and car keys; she feels like mom with those!     • Just what I wanted! Except for the phone...
This purse is beautifully made. It's good quality and very large for a little girl. The makeup is all pretend. It can't actually be applied. The keys beep and light up. There is play money for the wallet. But the play cell phone is awful. I was so excited because my little daughter was going to love it, but there is no way I will put batteries in it. It is horribly loud, even when the speaker is covered. There is only one real button and, when pressed, it makes a loud shrill sound every single time and the whole top half of the phone lights up red. The first press of the button is just the shrill "ringing". The second press is shrill ringing and then a muffled dog barking, (Why?) and the third press is shrill ringing and then and muffled song that I don't think is in English. If it is, it's unintelligible. It's a cute set, but I am taking a star off because of the awfulness of that phone. ... show more
