The media could not be loaded. The GPS accuracy is not good. Sometimes it says my son is all the way on the other side of town or a few blocks away. When we call each other he hears me just fine bit every time I talk I hear my own Echo, which is really annoying. I love how easy the watch is to use for my son. The school mode works great. The battery isn't bad but with GPS it draines, which you'd expect. The features are really nice. Overall it's a decent watch. Just annoyed with the echo and poor location. Also When they say the plan is $9.99 a month, that's if you pay over $200 right off the bat for 1 year. Overall I'd say it's worth it, but they could definitely fix a few things. ... show more

This isn’t the first kids smart watch our family has tried but I can definitely say after having used it for a while now it’s by far the BEST. We’ve talked to a lot of parents who had questions about these things so I wanted to share all the details here in hopes it's helpful for other parents! FEATURES: The main features of this watch are calling, text messaging, GPS tracking, and the step counter, reminders/alarms, and the fun customizations like ringtones, wallpapers, etc. The JrTrack 3 is definitely a worthwhile upgrade from the JrTrack 2 (which we also loved) mainly because of the upgraded IP68 water resistance. You still want to avoid swimming but this one is much more durable. We also found that the upgraded SIM had great service (plus it provides coverage in Canada and Mexico too now which is awesome for travel!) Overall the features here are solid, reliable, and better for the price than any others we’ve tried like Gizmo or Gabb. SET UP: Like all these kids watches, the JrTrack 3 requires a cellular plan that is easy to set up right out of the box. Ours took a minute to activate but once it did, it was a breeze. COSMO has a $10 activation fee which isn’t my favorite but compared to $25 or $35 that we got when we tried Gabb and Verizon it’s reasonable. COSMO offers a no-contract option but you get the best value when you prepay for a 2 year contract. CAMERA: One of the reasons we’re big fans of COSMO is because of the camera and the ability to take and send pictures. Our son has LOVED this. The camera quality isn’t anything amazing but it takes pictures, records video and has been a great way we all stay in touch. SAFETY: A lot of these watches have safety features but from everything we’ve experienced, I’d highly recommend going with COSMO if safety is your #1 priority. With this watch you get a full collection of safety features like unknown caller blocking and the SOS alerts. But it also includes optional 911 calling that parents can toggle on/off in settings. For us that was a must-have. OVERALL: This isn’t an apple watch but if you’re looking for something that is affordable, reliable, durable, and a great first device for kids, this is the one you should go with. ... show more

After just a couple of weeks using the watch, it quickly has made a great difference for how we are able to communicate with our kids. The user interface is super simple for them to use, and very intuitive. As a parent, having the access to their location whenever I want is great, especially when they are out at activities. The setup was really easy, and the mission control app is easy to use.     • Just didn’t work for us.
I really wanted to like this product. Customer service was great, so gave 3 stars instead of 1. It’s seems a decent quality, but it just wouldn’t fully work. I bought a Track 3 and it kept registering as a Track 2 on the app and in their system. It registered an area code in another state and despite many attempts from tech support, it just wouldn’t switch to a local area code. I did attempt a second watch to see if I had bad luck with the first one, but had another strike… not going back for a third. Taking advantage of the full refund after 15 days of activation. Customer service has been amazing, but just ready to move on to another product. ... show more

I had heard a lot of parent friends talk about COSMO so we decided to give this new one a try and it's been perfect! It's so easy to manage everything from the mission control app on our phones. It lets you approve contacts and automatically blocks any stranger numbers which is a big relief for me. We heard COSMO had the best safety features and it's been exactly what we hoped. It has 911 calling we can enable so we've used it as a good training tool to help my daughter be ready if there's an emergency. I've also found the GPS to be really reliable for check ins throughout the day. The app will update location in set time intervals or you can just tap refresh any time to get the latest. We have used the SafeZone settings a lot to get notifications when our daughter goes different places like school or a friend's house. A year ago, I bought the JrTrack 2 for my nephew he loved it. My niece is now old enough for one and I decided to get the 3 for her. There are some obvious upgrades here: 1. The GPS accuracy has noticably improved. I’ve been tracking her for 3 days and location has been spot on. 2. This watch has changed up the buttons on the watch itself to make navigation much more kid friendly. I love these changes. 3. Waterproof - game changer for kids. 4. The upgraded sim service works in Mexico! We have a vacation planned in a few weeks and I love that this will travel with us for the same monthly price. ... show more

Unable to tell if like or not since it won't allow me to active it until 11/14/23. Would've been nice to have been told that up front instead of after paying for it. Tried to active it and get a message that I'm one of the 1st buyers of new model 3 and can't activate until 11/14.
