    • Glow Rover Fire Truck
First of all, when ordering this Joyin LED Fire Truck, click on “This item is a gift” when you check out if it’s going to be a birthday present. Or else they’ll just stick a label on the product box and your kids will find a firetruck toy on the front porch! Also, it requires 3 AA batteries (not included), so have some ready to put in. A small screwdriver will be needed to open and close the battery compartment. This fire truck is basically a cheap plastic toy with lots of bells and whistles (or should I say lights and sirens!), but they’re what make it all worth it. You have a choice of putting it in manual mode or auto mode, using the switch on the side of the truck (it looks like a fire extinguisher). You can also adjust the volume or turn the sound off by sliding the yellow button above the yellow fire extinguisher. Press the start button on top to get things rolling! In addition to the regular tires, underneath the truck there is a hidden wheel that drives itself if you have it set to auto. It also comes with a wheel cover to prevent the fire truck from moving on its own when you don’t want it to. I got this toy for my grandson who’s been fascinated with siren sounds ever since a fire truck whizzed past us on the road one day. His birthday is next month and he’s going to love this! I don’t know why people say this fire truck is small when it’s almost a foot long. I do agree that the ladder is kind of flimsy and it’s the first thing that’s going to break off. However, the design of the fire truck is very realistic and it has lots of little interesting features to check out. Still, the light and sound show is probably the best part! Very lightweight firetruck with exciting lights and sounds but broke within hours of grandson playing with it. The ladder snapped off at its base, taking a chunk over the roof with it.
