I've been looking for a new razor for quite a while. I've tried several brands over the past year ranging from very inexpensive to rather pricey. I tried 3 blade and 5 blade. The first couple of shaves, they mostly gave a similar experience in closeness, but some were already getting a bit dull. My criteria: I need it to give a close shave without damaging my skin. It needs to give a consistent result. It needs to feel good in my hand. Preferably non disposable with easy to find replacement blades. An affordable price point and if possible, look pretty in my shower! After all my research, this was my winner! It met all my criteria and more. The only slight con I noticed- being that this particular package does not come with a safety cover. I don't have small children in my home & I don't travel often so not a big deal for me but it could be for some. I even tested how long I could go between shaves. Keeping in mind I have lighter colored hair and it's not thick or coarse. I went 11 days. I started to feel stubble on day 7 and on day 11 I was able to actually see the hair. I think that's pretty darn impressive! Another stand out for me was how good it felt in my hand. It has a little weight to it and is evenly balanced. It's also covered in a grippy rubbery material and doesn't slip out of my hand. There are a few colors to choose from as well. All in all, it was a lengthy search but well worth it in the end. Do not even add it to your cart, buy it now immediately. I used to use Billie razors and used to be obsessed with it but they did something to change the blade because like a year ago I noticed a less smooth shave (strawberry legs) and have been cutting/getting nicks since. I have been on the hunt reading all the reviews and researching what makes the best shave. My research concluded with my buying this. Love after first shave. First, I just nicked myself towards the ankle I think because I didn’t put product there and was being hasty, but that’ll only happen if you’re not careful. This is the smoothest my skin has been since like birth. No strawberry legs, no irritation whatsoever. Upon reviewing the price and the fact that I can use a single blade a few times before switching to a new one, I think this is the most economical razor as well. Owned by Gillette but I didn’t want a black one or manly, wanted it to be cutesy to match the aesthetic of the rest of my shower/products. I don’t mind the pink tax because it’s like $1 compared to men’s razors. I have ptsd from my last razor though so I kinda want to buy like 20 of these to last me the next few years in case they too decide to change their blades. The media could not be loaded. This razor is very good for its flexibility on the blade and a good clean shave that last longer than other razors I have tried! The only issue I have with this razor is that the handle is very slippery with a gel type finish so I had to add a hair tie to the handle for some additional grip, but that is not a very big deal considering the good quality of the shave! It is great for people with intensified crevices or muscles on their body as the blade and design moves around very easily with not much pressure and even though I am heavy-handed, I did not encounter any cuts with this blade! The first time I used this razor I shaved off hair I didn’t even know I had! I would highly recommend this razor for full body shaving although, in my opinion, I would improve the grip of the handle by using a hair tie or rubber band! The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was for the grip of the handle. All other qualities of the razor receive five stars! ... show more

Um..... these refills are identical to the Gillette Fusion 5-blade refills. Identical except for color. The Joy refills are white and the Fusion refills are orange. They are EXACTLY the same otherwise. So what? Well, the JOY costs less than HALF or the Fusion. 60% cheaper.
