My eight-year-old managed to break the controllers that came with his switch. I just couldn’t bring myself to spend $60 on replacements brand name. so happy I came across these. They are just as high-quality as the original they came with his console These should definitely last him awhile. Comfortable to use, and also pretty cool looking.     • Doesn't fit Ring or Nintendo Switch grip

Honestly, I should have read the Q&As more thoroughly and just paid the extra $30 for Nintendo branded joycons. These work as individual joycons, but I do not play any games like that. I use the grip (which these do not fit), but I also bought these specifically for my daughter to play with her Ring since my joycons experience drift. Unfortunately, they don't work for that either. Ultimately, really disappointing. The joycons themselves definitely feel cheaper made than the Nintendo branded ones. They feel lighter and more plastic-key. Lastly, they *seem* like they would fit in the switch itself, but only through forcing them in, which I chose not to do. We will keep these as extra individual joycons (although I have no idea when we would use them). ... show more

I think people were overrating these. Yes they are in good quality, yes the pairing was great. BUT THERE IS A HUGE BUT HERE. Everyone here should know that these Can't attach to the original Nintendo JOY CON GRIP! The shape of these joycons doesn't allow it. They are too big! You can force them in but it curves them and the grip and can break it! ... show more

The colors are vibrant and they slide onto the Switch easily. They look almost identical to the Joy Con brand controllers but they’re a different shape, the backside is rounded instead of flat. Ergonomically they are more comfortable to hold but they don’t fit into the charging stand, any of the adaptors grips or protective cases. I also think they don’t function as well as the Joy Con controllers do. So if you don’t need to use protective cases or the grips these are okay but functionality is questionable. We purchased it as an extra pair so that we can play game altogether in a group. I would say that they save the purpose and meet our expectations. These controllers are a bit fatter than original one, but the grip is as comfortable as the original one. We almost cannot tell the difference with original one except they are in different colors. Upon arrival, the “R” button was inoperable. It does not click or register on the switch at all like the “L” button does. Either the quality control for this item is bad or the button mechanism breaks easily. These cost less, but it’s not really worth it if the product doesn’t work.
