I'm 5'10 with a large tummy and bird legs. These look good on. Now, the built-in panties? Weird but acceptable since these shorts are fairly short. Please note they are made of polyester. That means you want to wash cold (if your washer uses warm/hot water when you choose cold like mine does, hand wash), then lay flat to dry. You will thank me later. I imagine I will wear these around the house or chores in the backyard but not in public, just because of how short they are in the back. ... show more

From the picture, I was expecting these shorts to be shorts. In reality, it is basically an underwear-like liner with a tulle-like fabric constituting the "shorts". The fabric is kind of transparent, and so it felt more like something you would wear to dance class or the pool rather than as actual clothing. The fabric wasn't very soft, and was a bit scratchy. The other thing I didn't love is that these shorts are so short that they fell at the widest part of my thigh, which was not very flattering (but this could just be how it fits me). I love these shorts and they are so airy! I am 5'4, 156lbs, and the mediums fit me perfectly! They have built-in underbriefs but they are not shorts so if you do not like that style, these would not be for you. I love how flowy the shorts are and they are perfect for wearing to theme parks in the summer since they give you air. They are a little shorter for ladies who are thicker but I think they still look really cute. The waistband is elastic and sits comfortably throughout the day. I wouldn't classify these as shorts per se; it is more of a skirt with attached briefs. The skirt is pretty sheer so you can see the briefs underneath, making it a bit unpleasant. I don't really see using this for working out or yoga. Perhaps it's a good option for beach volleyball or to walk around the beach. The elastic band is too tight for me, which is a massive letdown. This is a nice pair of skirt like shorts(skort we use to call them haha). Very light weight and breathable. No random odors, loose threads or tares. Survived a quick wash without loosing their shape or coloring. The fit is a bit snug but not too bad, at least I know they won't fall down, and they aren't super short either.
