  • Excellent, Order with Confidence
Size: 0.02 Ounce (Pack of 1000)
I ordered 1000 3/4 crickets on Friday to ship out Monday and there was a delay in the shipping with the carrier and they did not arrive until the next Saturday, 5 days later in the sweltering 90 degree heat and they all arrived alive. I can not believe it, definitely order with confidence. I contacted them last night to request refund as the package was still in limbo and they said they would send new crickets or refund if they don't come today. All is good, Thank you! ... show more

  • They stand behind their guarantee!
Size: 0.02 Ounce (Pack of 1000)
My first shipment was delayed and with the cold temperatures, my crickets didn't arrive alive. I contacted customer service (Shyela) and they were so graceful! They immediately sent out a replacement order. That shipping was also delayed and frustrating. It was easter weekend. I asked for a refund because I assumed they'd be dead after waiting a week. But ill tell you what! Them crickets are healthy and tough! More than half survived the shipment! I'm going to keep using Josh's frogs. They seem to be honest folks with healthy feeders. Thank you guys! ... show more

  • All 1000 were alive!
Size: 0.02 Ounce (Pack of 1000)
I’ve ordered from other sellers. I expect there to be a couple crickets that didn’t survive but this shipment came a day early and I couldn’t find a single dead cricket! This will be my go-to cricket supplier from now on. Also, I’ve had the crickets for about a week now and they are very healthy. Some of the crickets were much smaller than what they were supposed to be, but I’ll just let those grow up a little bit and let my bearded dragon eat those in a couple weeks. That’s not a big issue for me. ... show more

  • love Josh's frogs
Size: 0.02 Ounce (Pack of 1000)
i trust and love Josh's frog and i ordered these to start a colony (hopefully) and i have noticed some gravid mamas but no babies yet, had the set of 1000 for a couple months? maybe one? i dont remember when i ordered these guys but i love the way they're shipped. the little grates on the inside aren't attached so you can use them for other things but they do stay in place perfectly. i think when i got them i noticed 1 maybe 2 dead ones so they were obviously healthy and taken care of well, no escapees. definently would by. i do use these guys for feeders for my leopard geckos and they seem to get eaten faster so they must be slower which is honestly great for feeders. This is just my experience as a beginner and the fact that i use these guys for feeders. ... show more

  • I don't understand how someone can leave a bad review after getting dead crickets but receiving a refund
Size: 0.02 Ounce (Pack of 1000)
I have ordered crickets a few times now. But have neglected in leaving a review. Every time but once they were alive and well. I open my box asap and start feeding and watering them right away. I have had crickets last months and months with no issues. I don't understand how someone can leave a bad review after getting dead crickets but receiving a refund. Isn't that good customer service?! As mentioned I did have crickets arrive dead once. I received a full refund. And who is even to blame for dead crickets, the heat, the cold, the post office???? But they honored the loss, so no loss! Please when considering buying remember user error. You can't leave your box outside all day and then empty it three days later. I exaggerate! Also, I read one review that they were unhappy, leaving a bad review and low stars for the crickets not all being the same size! REALLY?! Well, I just disregard those reviews. Just got my 1000 crickets in today! I stil have about 50-75 from my last order over a month ago. They are happy and healthy. Another low review was about the packaging, that there wasn't an inner box or something. WHAT? So they are suppose to double box them? How will this make it easier to empty? Disregarded that review too. The crickets will arrive in a box. When you open that box there will be crickets in it! I keep my crickets in a tote. I cut the tape off the box so I can open it and then open all but one edge, keeping the crickets contained then flip the box upside down into my tote holding the box down low, as low as possible. There will be tons of them still in the box, they climb and stick to cardboard. Just tap the box keeping it basically IN the tote. I just emptied my box and had only one escape and I caught her! Voila! Crickets are happy and contained! Don't be alarmed if you see some that are dead. I think they give you a little more to cover the loss and they are soooooo cheap! Also, crickets shed as they grow. So you will see what looks like dead crickets but are really just the shedding of their 'skin'. They are growing! Hope this review helps someone! ... show more

  • DEATH
Size: 0.02 Ounce (Pack of 1000)
The crickets arrived double boxed with outer box taped shut without breathing holes of any kind. as a result there was a dead rat smell coming from the inner box. after opeing the inner box I figured they either shoveled the bottom of the cricket barrel and scooped allot of dead ones in the box before they sent it or the crickets died on the way due to lack of oxygen or bad weather. either way they were rotting in there without oxygen. More trouble than it was worth trying to separate dead from alive smell was so strong i had to do it outside. probably more than a third were dead on arrival. which I could live with but it didnt seem like care was taken packing them. They obviously couldn't breath. After separating them giving them food and water everything seemed to be okay for the most part... checking this morning I see that half of what were left are dead or on their backs twitching. now im left with probably around 250 crickets. kept other crickets for weeks with little death. I'll stick with my reptile shop crickets. Cleaner and crickets are healthy. ... show more
