Used it for the first time this past weekend and they definitely held down our canopy in the breeze and wind gusts, however, there is only velcro keeping the top closed so sand will spill out during transport. We ended up using kitchen sized, plastic garbage bags and tied them in a knot to keep the sand inside. ... show more
