The media could not be loaded. The JORGENSEN 20 Inch Black Coated Pro Hand Saw is an 11 tooth per inch saw that quickly and cleanly cuts through wood and PVC. What's in the box: saw, blade guard, and cardboard sheath. The saw blade is fairly stiff like other hand saws that I have used; not flexible like some Japanese saws. The handle is solid and feels good in your hand. There are 90 and 45 degree angle marks on the handle that you can use, with a pencil, to draw layout lines. There is a plastic blade guard that I recommend you put on the saw when not in use to protect the teeth from damage and protect people from getting cut. At the end of the blade is a hole that you can use to hang the saw on a nail or a pegboard peg. I would purchase this saw again. ... show more

I was able to really put this new Jorgensen hand saw through its paces, and I have been very impressed with both its feel and its performance. My past experience with other Jorgensen tools has been positive, and this saw joins that list for me. This saw is heavy enough to power through thick hardwood cuts (I used it on multiple cuts through 1 3/4" hickory boards), and the handle's grip is ergonomic and comfortable. The blade does not tend to flex easily, and the black matte finish helps to reduce friction and disburse heat buildup, which ultimately helps you cut faster. The teeth are sharp, and the blade moves through cuts quickly, cleanly, and with a thinner kerf than I've seen on most other push saws of this size.     • Nice coating
The say is nice and sharp but I'm really excited for the coating on the blade to keep it from rusting. We live in the rain forest and everything rusts so fast. We are used to working in the rain but a lot of our tools don't hold up to it.

The saw is definitely well made and works really well. It is a fine cut saw and should be used as such. The description mentions gardening, however, it would be for very limited situations where you would use it for gardening. The saw is easy to use with a nice handle and long blade. This saw cuts as good as it looks. What I like about it: **Good size for all kinds of household sawing. This one will get used much more often than my larger hand saw. **Grip Feels Good -- The handle feels secure and comfortable in my hand **The coated, flexible blade slides and slices through wood easily **Has measurements on side of handle, helpful in gauging how level your cut is I haven't had this long enough to comment on long-term durability.
