I purchased two of these for either side of my mirror in my master bath. I was hoping it would mimic one of those integrated light mirrors because they are just so plain I wanted something with a little more pizzazz. They do not do that. The light they put off is almost a glow. It's not terribly bright, but still brighter than a night light. At night, I like to turn these on when getting ready for bed because it gives the bathroom a soft glow. The construction is fair. The feature that allows you to turn them from front to back is a little bit hard to do so I probably won't be doing it that much. But it's good to have that in case I need it. Our new house has an open staircase with a large wall holding two, builder-grade sconce lights that were WAY off center - incredibly annoying. I searched everywhere online for linear sconces to help balance the visual weight of the wall that will ultimately hold a mirror or other décor. Everything else I found was over $400/light, and most were not adjustable like these are. Not only does the whole arm swing up or down, but the light itself twists to where you want the light to emit. For the note, while these are LED lights they have a natural tone to them like a regular lightbulb, not a hue that is blue or yellow. I am so happy these were available on Amazon -they didn't break the bank, and the material is quality. I only put one up for the photos b/c I plan to spray-paint them to match my satin nickel or black metals, but I wanted to get this review in immediately because there are no other reviews and I'm truly impressed by the quality. Don't convince yourself that the $400 versions are 'more expensive for a reason' because in reality they are all just wires and metal - they look and operate the same. They are bright without being blinding and would work above a bathroom mirror or in a hallway. I definitely recommend these lights and am already looking for a place to add more to my home! ... show more
