At first I wasn't too sure I would like this after smelling it for the first time, but it is an alright fragrance. The initial spray smelled a bit like grandma perfume to me, but the drydown is nice. Even though i didn't like it much at first, I could not stop smelling it on my wrist, its a pleasant smell but I think its one of those scents people either like or they don't. I probably will not be buying this again, but i will finish this bottle. It does last all day , however it doesnt project too much on me. Definitely worth a try, but i would recommend smelling it first if you can. I purchased mine from Pharmapacks and it's the authentic cologne, if that helps anyone. ... show more

(tried to use a ball cap for contrast of size) I don't use/wear much cologne. Have a beard, and and long-hair (between keeping my hair groomed) usually have enough scent on me'.... But a little goes a long way! Even if a person was to wear this daily, it would last many months. For those not familiar with joop for men, I'd say the scent is like a decent men's manly smell, with just enough of a semi-vanilla thrown in'... But it's the same smell/recipe as when I began wearing it over 25yrs ago ... show more

I have been wearing Joop! for 20 years. This was the first time I purchased it from Amazon and not from a beauty shop and for that I was skeptical as to how real it would be considering the low price. Well, Im not a chemist but if this is fake then its the best fake Joop ever made lol. I even compared the glass bottle construction to an empty Joop bottle I had from 5 years ago. Got this as a gift for him because I remember a friend used to wear it and I would always ask him what he was wearing. Well years later and it still smells just as amazing! I ordered this for my collection after hearing some buzz about this cologne. Idk really how to describe it's scent but it's like they mixed a fragrance for a very young man (16-18yo) with a fragrance for a 30-35 yo man. It's definitely different and quite potent (one spray and people will smell you from 2-3 ft away). The bottle I received has some staying power and the scent will be with you all day.
