Bought a Joola Inside 18 table. Assembly is straightforward, but would say it's a 20-30 min exercise to unbox and assemble, and is best done with a partner. You're only adding the "T" part with wheels (x4)--two brackets on each leg, two bolts/nuts to secure the brackets. The package is heavy (231lbs) and requires at least two people to lift. Once assembled, be sure to have two people lift and flip the table, and set it down like a moon landing. I've seen the reviews where people try to roll the table on its legs to stand it up and the legs break away from the board. I can see how this would happen as the table is heavy, and the legs are just screwed into the MDF. The packaging was effective--rubber corner protectors on al corners, 0.25 inch particle board wrapped in cardboard lined all four sides of the carton and the top/bottom is lined with a thin (like 1-2mm) sheet of pressed board to protect against punctures in the carton. The table had no visible defects and in seems to have an even bounce on both halves. It seems sturdy and should do just fine for recreational play. I originally had the Inside 25 selected for the 1 inch-thick top, but opted for the Inside 18 to reduce the weight (-30lbs) and to be more "practical" for our needs. I don't think one needs the 1" unless you're planning to reach a competitive level. Quite happy with it so far. Be sure to plan at least 3 feet on each side and at least 4ft on either end, especially if you're playing at beyond novice level. Folding the table was easy. However, you can see from my photo of the latch mechanism, there's a little stub of metal that holds this in place. Seems they could have made this a little. larger. This product is made in China, which is not surprising and not a big deal for the price. The only negative with this purchase was that I paid for "any room delivery" service. The description of this service is that it will be delivered to any room inside your home including up to 2 flights of stairs up or down. Well, Amazon sent a single driver with a two-wheel hand truck to perform this task. It is not only unreasonable to expect the driver to do this, but it is also unsafe. The size of the package makes it at least a two person job and the carton even says "mechanical lift required" (see photo). Thankfully the driver was built like a tank and he pushed while I lifted the other end up the stairs--18 steps, two at a time. There was no way he could have done this by himself. And, it's unacceptable that I had to help get it upstairs when I paid for the service. Had it been my wife receiving this delivery, it would have remained in our entry way and unboxed there. To be clear, the driver was professional and courteous. I felt bad for him as most of the packages he had in the truck were two-person lifts (e.g. 70 and 85" television sets). ... show more

We're pretty psyched about our new Joola Inside Professional 18mm ping pong table. We're a competitive pong family of four and have been researching and scoping out tables for over a year. We opted for the more expensive, thicker table in order to insure a higher quality game and plenty of bounce for our buck. The table is deep blue and is a beautiful color. It compliments our bonus room well and doesn't feel too casual. Paint lines and details are high quality, though there was a scratch or two where the two table pieces met and the "Joola" signature on one side of the table was pretty scratched. Luckily the net covered table scratches and we positioned the damaged "Joola" writing on the side no one would see, so it wasn't worth reporting or complaining about. The table comes in two pieces and took us about 30 minutes to read instructions and assemble. You need two people to lift it and assemble it with ease and caution. It's really heavy but the moving parts have a solid design and feel well constructed. The two table parts do not connect but just merge together and stay together with the table leg brakes. We had a bit of a problem with the parts not coming together at an even height due to the unevenness of our concrete floor. Luckily we were able to adjust leg heights on one side to make the two parts meet, but there is a slight downslope on one side. It doesn't really seem to affect our play (unless I'm losing in which I need a point of blame....) The net set-up is sheer brilliance compared to other table nets we've played with. It's easy to adjust and tighten with the pull of a string and a ball-loop fastener. Both my husband and I grew up around ping pong and this table is one of the highest quality tables we've played on. It was an instant hit in our house and is used on a daily basis by our 11-year old, 13-year old, their friends, and our friends. (It's just too bad my husband keeps losing....to me.). It's big enough for a competitive game and easily accommodates 4 players. I was worried the table wouldn't stay "put" while playing but the wheel locks really hold it in place. If you're looking for a high quality, nice-looking table for your home, I would highly recommend this one. Don't waste your time with the 15mm thickness. Spend the extra money on the 18mm one. It's well worth it. The only struggle we had with this purchase was awaiting the 3-week out delivery around Christmas time. We were unable to schedule ours until mid-January. If you're ordering for a particular event, I'd suggest you place your order in plenty of time. The delivery is arranged by a service and someone has to be at your home to receive it. We paid an additional $20 and opted for in-room delivery. It was so worth it given the table's weight and length, as no one in our home had to lift or move anything. Our delivery was rescheduled because we live in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, but the company was easy to work with and communicated well on the phone. Delivery was a breeze! ... show more

We absolutely love this Joola Inside Tennis Table. Mind you it's only four days old for us but I am very impressed with the quality of this table so far. Delivery was on time and the delivery guys dragged the box through the garage and into the entry level basement we have. Lead delivery man was very patient as I unpacked and inspected the parts. My son and I had the table set up and playable in less than thirty minutes. It would have been only 15 if I'd done it myself, but I let him take the lead in determining tools needed and assembly. the table is very solid and with the locking casters doesn't move at all while playing, unless you give it a good shove or are going for a diving save. The paint seems very durable and resists marring when the paddle hits the surface during aggressive play. The net seems of high quality and stays firmly in place during play, yet disassembles in seconds when you need to fold the table up. Table folds up in a jiffy and solidly locks in the upright position. That, coupled with the smooth rolling action of the castors makes rolling the sections around very easy. My wife and I also like the idea of using the sections as buffet tables or extra seating at larger gatherings as they're much more sturdy that the average folding table. Table play is fantastic as the paint isn't too slippery and the table top is so solid that the ball bounce is very natural and predictable during play. For the price (we got ours for $100 off on an Amazon 1 day sale), I don't think you can get a better table and I highly recommend this table to anyone looking for a high quality table at a good price. ... show more
