We bought this for our backyard where we could have a ping pong table for the kids and also double as a nice table for dinners and work. This definitely fit the bill. The table is made of concrete and is heavy! It looks like wood, painted well, and looks really good overall. It is difficult to move once put together. Plays fine but you just hear a bit of an empty “dong” sound every time the ball hits since it’s concrete as opposed to wood. The net is metal and easy to take off and put on. If you leave it out in the sun, the concrete also gets really hot so you need to keep it covered. I didn’t get a chance to put together the table for a couple of months after I bought it since we were doing some construction in the backyard, when I put together I noticed a corner of the table was chipped and you could see just the gray concrete. I was way over the Amazon return window, so called Joola’s customer support and they sent me a brand new side of the table within days. The table is heavy and needed freight shopping, so not cheap to do. They were super nice about it and glad they did. Overall, really happy with the table so far! ... show more

Exactly what I wanted for our outdoor space. With bench seating, this table will sit 12+ people, but it is also a high-performance ping pong table. I would highly recommend this table. (It is quite heavy during construction so make sure you have 3-4 adults to help with lifting, etc.)

It’s ok for the price, if you are a recreational user. 1 it came with a damaged top, what we didn’t find out until we assembled it (which takes about four hours), but Amazon replaced it. It also had other missing parts, like the safety strip. 2. The top is made from particle board (15 mm) which would probably warp in a humid environment. I assume that’s why it comes with angle trims for the edges. However the trims are plastic so i replaced them with aluminum angle bars. 3. Some of the predrilled holes were off by about half an inch, which we found out after trying to open the legs. 4. The casters are cheap, made for office furniture, and if you need to move it on a somewhat uneven surface you need new casters. I ordered some waiting then for to arrive. 5. When you open it to use it the two top pieces would never snap into place, but you can always fix that with a little force. Easy fix. I screwed a piece of aluminum bar to one for guide. 5. The fact that it is a folding one piece is a GREAT advantage for us. Almost every day we roll it out from the garage to the driveway to play :). In all, if you don’t mind dealing with little annoyances, it is a good deal. UPDATE: Be aware, it turned out to be a very dangerous contraption! We folded up one half, the so-called “gravity lock” was in place to hold it (which is a joke btw), and while i was folding the other half, the first slammed back down. Fortunately nobody was there. The lock has about 1/2” catch, but the whole contraption is so flimsy, that while i was folding the other half of the table it disengaged. I had some industrial Velcro and i screwed a piece on the bottom holding the legs with the crossing bars together (see photos) for all four legs. At least it prevents the half of the table to slam down. Btw, for the Velcro i used a fender washer and 5/8” screws, the included 1/2” screws are short. The “safety strap” works ONLY after both halves are folded. Again, for the money, it is an ok deal for amateurs, but for a few more bucks it could have been a lot better. ... show more

    • Great table!
This table is very heavy in the box. It took about 3 hours to assemble, but is doable by following the directions! Assembly is easier with two people. We really enjoy it, and the grandkids love it!

This product does not even deserve a 1 star. To begin with it is extremely heavy for no reason. The assembly instructions are not clear making you guess most of the time. The picture are too small and hazy to see exactly what you are supposed to do. No phone number to call with any questions. Most of the screws used are too short to hold anything into the cheaply manufactured table top and will not hold the brackets in place. The siding was supposed to be attached to the wrong side therefore name came upside down. The table top had markings and damage. The legs did not fit right and were bent. The connector plaque came damaged. After 6 hours of work when we stood it up the two sides did not fit each other and the too short screws dislodged from the brackets. It was a horrible experience spending this much time, effort and money. We called customer service and will be returning this piece of crap. Please save your money and look for something else. ... show more

    • If it ships damaged, you’re stuck!
I love this table! It’s beautiful, hefty, I would buy it again. However it is super super heavy. We were ready for this based on some of the reviews that we saw and going over the product wait. However, I don’t think the shipping company was ready for how heavy it was. It looks as though it got dropped on one side during shipping which chipped the table top. Chipped in a few different places and we contacted the company and they said they couldn’t do anything, like send a repair kit or send a replacement piece. They told us to contact Amazon and Amazon said that we would have to completely box it all up again to send it it all back. However, it was dropped off at the forklift. There was no way we were going to be able to get it shipped back in a box. We were stuck! So we’re having to fix it on our own. If it was a little less expensive, it wouldn’t sting so much that it didn’t come perfect. So I’m trying to get over it . I’m just glad that the problem wasn’t bigger or I’d be really really ticked! ... show more

We like the foldable aspect of this table. We do not have a lot space in our garage to keep our table up all the time. We purchased this for a family reunion. It worked great and was easy to assemble. Folds up fairly easily. The wheels have a locking mechanism which makes it easy to roll when you are wanting to get it out of the way, but locks in place during game play. ... show more
