Do yourself a favor and have a socket wrench ready for putting this together. Had I just used the wrench they included, I would have given up on this and returned it. In fact, I did almost give up and return this. There's so many steps where it's easy to make the wrong move and install something either in the wrong hole or put it on the wrong way. I had to re-do many of the steps. This took a good 2-3 hours total of putting it together. The price is right though. Would love to see something made out of lighter material so it's not so heavy and difficult to maneuver. When the day comes for us to get rid of this thing, I imagine it will be difficult. Delivery was great and table is solid and looks nice. However I had to drill new holes in the base because it was manufactured wrong. I attempted to call Joola before to get a replacement part but their message is they are too busy to take calls or voicemails. I then emailed and sent a message through their website to get a new part but could not get any response. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced this. Amazon customer service was excellent as usual. It it wasn’t so difficult to unbox I would have sent back. Do not buy this brand. There are plenty of options out there. ... show more

We bought this for our backyard where we could have a ping pong table for the kids and also double as a nice table for dinners and work. This definitely fit the bill. The table is made of concrete and is heavy! It looks like wood, painted well, and looks really good overall. It is difficult to move once put together. Plays fine but you just hear a bit of an empty “dong” sound every time the ball hits since it’s concrete as opposed to wood. The net is metal and easy to take off and put on. If you leave it out in the sun, the concrete also gets really hot so you need to keep it covered. I didn’t get a chance to put together the table for a couple of months after I bought it since we were doing some construction in the backyard, when I put together I noticed a corner of the table was chipped and you could see just the gray concrete. I was way over the Amazon return window, so called Joola’s customer support and they sent me a brand new side of the table within days. The table is heavy and needed freight shopping, so not cheap to do. They were super nice about it and glad they did. Overall, really happy with the table so far! ... show more

Once assembled, this is a wonderful table. My family has already had tons of fun with this. It can also be halfway folded so you can have one player. However, assembling this was a complete mess. My husband is incredibly handy and it took him a very long time (almost his entire day off) because he had to re-drill the holes which were misaligned. Almost everything was misaligned. I really wanted to like this table since it was the only one that fits into our basement and I wanted to support the manufacturer for making it. I had read reviews saying it was hard to assemble, but I'm pretty handy with tools and willing to spend a couple hours into putting it together. I expected the predrilled holes to be off and figured I'd just predrill them correctly myself. However, the leg assemblies connect in such a way that the location of every single bracket has to be precisely placed or the leg assemblies will not connect to each other. Furthermore, even if you get the legs to connect, the tabletops are easily misaligned and also not properly spaced to produce the right table length. Also, the safety strap in not adequately attached to the table by the short screws provided. The strap pulls out of the table at a mere hint of tension, creating a serious safety issue as well as a big hole in the bottom of the table. The white strips down the middle are distracting when hitting the ball and provide slightly different bounces than the rest of the table. Also, there are dead spots here and there on the tabletop. Overall, a huge disappointment, but I'm keeping it since it is the only option I could find for a ping pong table in our basement. That's the only reason it gets 2 stars. I considered building one myself from scratch and perhaps I should have done that. ... show more
