OMG this rug is so beautiful. “Emerald green” is exactly the right description for the color. This rug is a true deep green that shimmers. I had been looking for an old style dark green rug but most green rugs I found were a light green (olive green is trendy right now but not for me!) or the dark green was over-run with white patterns or faux-distressing that faded out the true green so the overall effect was a light green. This rug looks stunning beneath my bunnies pen, it’s such a pretty cream color. I’ve had it for a few months now and it has held up to most of their destructiveness. I appreciate the thickness of this rug, it’s not too thin or too thick. Even after months of use, it’s still so soft. It’s also very easy to remove poopy stains and pet hair from the rug. My bunnies have chewed the left corner off, so I just purchased a second one! Overall I definitely recommend this. This carpet is well worth the price but the one side was not straight at all and narrowed down by about two inches from the opposite side. I put this end under my sofa so you cannot see it. The color of this rug is very pretty. It was listed as turquoise, but it’s actually closer to a dark teal shade, however, it does work with my lighter colored turquoise items in the room. The pile is very soft, but it is very thin. I believe I will do what another person suggested, and place another rug underneath it. My biggest disappointment is that the rug will not lay down flat. I have placed weights on it, I have taped it down and left it for a couple of days, and while the edges seem to have relaxed and light near the floor, the ripples created from the rug not being rolled evenly, and the weight of the rug itself causing the ends to fold when it was standing up on its end during transit have created these ripples. Had I known it would do this and not flatten, I would have returned it. At this point I can only hope that it will eventually relax and flatten out. If this had not been the last one in this color, I would have sent it back before pulling the cover off because of the way it was bent on the ends, but I was hopeful that it would be OK so buyers, if you receive one that has been rolled at an angle and the ends are cramped or folded, go ahead and send it back to re-order one that isn’t bent so badly that it will not flatten. This is exactly what I needed. This rug is inexpensive, looks amazing, and actually came rolled up / not folded like some of the other cheap options I've seen out there. The edges of the rug are not perfectly straight - so I gave 4 stars for that. Not a big deal for me though.
