It’s a beautiful lamp that comes with a much-appreciated energy efficient bulb. I would have given it a perfect rating but there were a few issues. This was a replacement lamp. If you saw the care this company takes to package this baby you would say there was no way it could break, but the first lamp arrived with a circular crack, and I ended up with some sharp glittery dust in my hands. The box it was shipped in was not dented in any way. The return with Amazon was easy and just a few days after returning the broken lamp, I received the one in the photo. The new lamp was in good shape. It was a little tricky getting the harp into the receiver slots. The slots were a little narrow and the tongs never quite fit in. Also, the shade took finessing to sit straight and there’s a slight dent in part of the shade. Having said this, all the parts of the lamp, the shade, hardware, long cord, base and the glass itself are all high quality. ... show more

I have this lamp on my desk in the corner of my room, and when I went to set it up I realized the top part doesn’t fit in like it’s supposed to, it simply rests on top. If I were using this all the time and turning it on & off with its switch, I would have to get another lamp for sure as the shade would constantly be falling off. However I currently have it set up with Alexa so I use my voice to turn it on & off, so it works. I can't believe how beautiful this little lamp is! It is an unbelievable value. I have it set on top of a small accent table next to my pile of books that I'll read... someday.
