Wow, this is a super long strand of lights that are solar powered. I would not really call them Christmas colors, but they will still brighten up and be colorful for any occasion. At 120 feet, you can do a 30ft x 30ft square. So it is a very long strand. I really liked that the power button was a different color. These are good overall. Pretty standard lights of this design. Good solar unit. So far everything is going well. They’re pretty. But I feel the photos don’t represent well how small these lights are. This is a pretty cool holiday decoration. It's a neat visual to see Santa climbing up a ladder, and the lights have a series of settings where you can change the colors displayed, get them to flash quickly or slowly, etc. The whole decoration is about 3 feet in total, with the top 6 inches designed to be used to hang the whole object up. The distance from the top to bottom rungs is about 30 inches. This can be hanged on any hook or even on the side of your Christmas Tree The Santa figure is not designed to be seen from up front or up close. Let's just say he won't be appearing on the cover of GQ any time soon. He's functional though. He has two velcro straps on the end of each hand which allows him to grab any rung on the ladder on which you wish to place him. Anyway, if you are viewing this with the lights down from behind it really is a very cool decoration and a nice break from just a string of lights or a Santa figurine. The idea of seeing Santa on the ladder gives an idea of action, too, even if he's just stationary. All in all it's a pretty good product for the price ($21.99 in November of 2022). Santa is a little hard to look at, but since that figure will be facing away from you, it's easy to deal with. This is a good holiday decoration that you'll use each year. ... show more

This is a pretty cute light display. I believe the instructions say it can be indoor or outdoor but it’s really light and a little flimsy that I personally wouldn’t trust it outside, we’ll be hanging it inside. The lights work great I just wish a little more detail was put into the Santa, it feels like a lighter/plastic Barbie version and I would have liked it if his head could move sideways to see his face. But overall it’s still a very nice light display for the money spent. ... show more

I have a long lane and for years have wished for Christmas lights at the end, but had no electricity there. These solar LED Christmas lights seem like the solution. Comes with a little solar panel and small stake. I tied my panel to a small post next to the shrub rose I decorated. The lights are miniature. There are 8 modes. The directions say nothing about what modes are - you just have to experiment. You need to face the panel towards the sun for 6-8 hours before using. Most important - read the directions about first time use. I didn’t and initially wondered if the lights were broken. First, don’t press the on button until it’s charged AND dark out. The panel has a light sensor, and if it’s even twilight, it won’t come on. It was at this point I thought mine were maybe broken. But I went back inside and actually read the directions. I then waited til dark, and they switched on just fine. Flipped through the modes, which were variations of blinking, chasing, fading, steady. I left mine on steady. Once it’s set, you never have to hit on/off again, as it will automatically do so itself. This is the first night. They came on automatically at dusk (~5:30) and when I looked out at 1:00 AM they were still on. It says they should go 6-8 hours on a charge, and that seems to hold true. Will be interesting to see how this little unit holds up to the winter weather. I take off a star for very limited instructions and no info on the modes. But, on first impression, they seem like a viable solution to a problem, so I’ll add the star back. ... show more

Priced at $19.99, this is as good (or better) than expected. The Seller's photos are pretty honest and do not exaggerate. The Santa face was better than expected and with a face like this (attached), how can you not give 5 stars? This nice Santa face will be wasted if hanging face-down on a general wall. So, I'm going to hang him on an outside window. He's built of waterproof material and should be able to handle the elements. I recommend picking up a suction cup so that you can attach him to a window and he can peer into your house; does not come with a way to mount on windows. The manufacturer didn't lay the light wires flat and straight before assembling, so the ladder will not lay perfectly straight. Its still straight enough, but if you are a perfectionist, you'll have this urge to want to straighten out the ladder and it can't be done. In my attached photo, the color of the lights appears warm/golden. However, in real life, its more of a pure white than a warm white. Lights have several blinking options, but I prefer solid no frills stable lighting. This comes pre-assembled. All you have to do is velcro Santa's hands in place and you are good to go.
