Description

Delta White Steel Vertical F-N-T Ready Transfer Tank Truck Box - 37 Gallon Capacity features a 14-gauge construction for long-term durability. The internal baffles reinforce the high-strength design and controls the flow of the contents when moving. All tanks are pressure tested for leaks. The features include: all tanks are pressure tested for leaks. The 2 inch reinforced bungs allow convenient use from either side; a filter system is recommended. There are built-in lifting rings to assist with lifting and moving an empty tank. A lockable filler cap and coupler prevent excessive pressure build up. The heavy-duty brackets secure the tank to the truck bed; all brackets must be bolted to the truck bed. Where to begin... The welds on top clearly were done by an apprentice or a blind guy. Two 2"NPT fill holes on top with one cap, so buy a plug or a fil-rite kit. Large tag on top states not approved for commercial use. This makes it completely useless to me even though the original discription stated DOT approved. I initiated a return the same day. Drain hole wrong side, no internal baffles, no 2" top plug included - bolts too long, no top or side mounting brackets. You can mount this backwards, but then the top edge facing rear of truck is the welded side and panel is all wavy vs the "front side" that has a bend edge and panel is straight. If you mount this on a ram truck, you need 4.5" bolts for front brackets, and 1.5" for rear. Drill down thru bed cross frame for front bolts. ... show more

There is not a straight panel on this. It also did not come with the plug pictured in the other hole. It will be behind my tool box so it won’t show the waves in the panels. Does the job well enough for what I need. The lifting eyes are off center and I don’t think I would trust them under a full load. Paint job is ok mostly ish. If it didn’t have the tool box in front of it I would probably return it. ... show more
