I got it for my kitten, when he was 8 weeks old and it was comfortable, although he was not a happy camper and got his nails stuck, had to pull over and unstick him. Now that he is 6 months old and tall, he really doesn’t fit, he’s only just 7 lbs, my other kitten who’s much shorter, but a little chunky also barely fits in it, she’s about the same weight but just different shaped. It is much larger than expected. Only used once, because my dog is small. But ironically he wanted to get in it and just sit last night. He had been sniffing it off and on. So I said let me see if he will get in it. He did for a while, went back to his cage and so I moved it, he ran out and so I let him get back in it. I think he will enjoy it now ... show more

Perfect for a kitten. Easy to load, easy to carry. Was able to keep the kitten in the carrier on my lap! Tried using it again for my 6 lb, 12 month old cat, but she was not too happy about it.
