When I first started putting the highchair together I thought it was fairly flimsy until I’d gotten all the parts in and realized it was stronger than I thought. I also thought the footrest was a joke at first, as it would only fit in the first notch for it, but on closer inspection, there’s a knob under the footrest that extends it to fit as your child grows and you bring it down lower. While the idea of the chair fitting through the teen years is really nice, it is fairly narrow and you’d have to have a skinny teen who could still fit into it. This high chair is super nice and I love it! It was a little difficult to built but when I finally got it built I fell in love with it! It is a super nice color and I love that it even came with buckles to make sure your baby is safe! Especially during feeding time if you have to step away for a few seconds to grab a new spoon, food, etc… this high chair helps keep your baby safe and looks great! I loved this chair at first because we didn't use the tray, but upon using the tray I've noticed some major design flaws in our chair. It's VERY difficult to get the tray on this chair. So much so that I'd recommend putting it on once and never taking it off because it's not worth the hassle. Additionally, the foot rest can only be placed in the highest position because the legs slant outwards and the other positions are too wide for the footrest. For the price, I'd expect this chair to have a much better design. However, we still can use it with the tray always attached and the footrest in the highest position. ... show more

This is a pretty sturdy chair and we like the padding. The biggest complaint we have is the difficulty of attaching and detaching the tray. It's fairly easy to clean and has a really attractive design! For the price point, I would expect the tray to be designed better honestly. I think there are other options out there that are better for the price point. But does it work? yes. ... show more
