  • Garbage
Not much to like. No instructions but figured it out. Only heats to 102. Two return hoses back to pump and only one filter, had to cap one. Sides are really high especially compared to water level. Gfi kept tripping so wasting more electricity than needed to reheat it as well as not being able to use it. ... show more

  • Good Value
Love that it has the look/feel similar to a regular hot tub. Works great so far had it about 3 weeks. Use it quite regularly. First thing to know is mine came with absolutely zero instructions of any kind. It came with a QR code to have directions on your phone however there’s not a video of anything even close to this particular hot tub. That being said, it wasn’t that hard. I had it put together in about 30 minutes to an hour but we’re pretty mechanically inclined. Might be difficult if you’re not. If you’re looking for operating directions. A brand by the name of Cosy spa has clearly rebranded this and has decent instructions online. ... show more

  • Needs support from company
Worked great for a year. Literally a year and a month after the warranty ended the pump unit stopped working, and even though the company offered to sell me another one ($150 for the unit and $220 for shipping from China), when I reached out about doing the purchase I heard nothing back. No way to replace. Very disappointed that the company doesn't offer replacement parts here in the US for purchase. Now have useless tub that can't even filter. Only other issues was that the outer shell started to tear at the bottom about 6 months after use and the lid was falling apart. ... show more

  • Adequate but nothing to write home about.
Once we got it up and running it is pretty much as expected. It heats up eventually, took 24 hours to get from 59 to 100 degrees F. You HAVE TO run the heat and filter in order to heat it, otherwise the water doesn't circulate and it stops heating well before it gets warm. As someone else mentions in their review, using the bubble jets cools the water by about 4 degrees F. Also don't expect to be able to follow the included assembly directions, they suck. And the link to the video doesn't exist. Finally found a Youtube video that shows enough detail to assemble properly. If I were to do this over, I would look carefully at the slightly smaller version of this that is available from Walmart for almost $400 less. Live and learn. ... show more

  • Manufactruing defect right ou6t of the box.
This is not really an easy to assemble item. It is doable. My mate and I got it together and started filling it with water only to find the cheap hose had a crack in it. We drained the unit and attempted to find a replacement part. Replacement parts are NOT available. This tub was garbage from the get go. ... show more

  • Junk
This thing is worse than my inflatable hot tub, but 3x as much money. Has 1 filter and the pump takes forever to heat up. 5 hours to get from 100 to 104 in 60 degree weather. It's nice if u can somehow get it to 104 and be in it. But when it hits 104 the heater shuts off and drops back to 100 before it kicks back on. ... show more

  • Good value
Tub arrived quickly and on time. Others selling this same tub were unreliable (Wave). Tub heated up from 55 degrees to 104 in less than 24 hours and keeps in the heat (good insulation and cover). Seems well built and should last longer than the inflatables, so it's worth a few extra bucks. I put a 1/2" foam pad on my patio and it is very comfortable to sit on. make sure it is under some shelter as they mention in the instructions, as the cover will collect water. ... show more

  • Like a plug and play inflatable in a sturdier, better insulated package with one major flaw
This works like all 120v portable spas, you have one filter that is also the inlet for the heater, which takes a long time to heat up and the filter won't catch everything, so use a pool skimmer and learn proper pool chemistry. The difference here is that it's not inflatable at all, is well insulated AND the bubble effect is actually in spots along the sides that will hit you nicely, not just a strip on the bottom that is nearly worthless except for mixing chemicals. BUT, a MAJOR con is that while it allows you to set 104F as your temp, the heater cuts off into pause mode as soon as the temp even touches 103F and won't go back on itself until it's down to 100f. Even if you don't want 104F to actually use, you DO want to hit that as with 120v systems the temp will start dropping immediately once removing the cover. The Bestway/Intex/Coleman (all made by Bestway) setups let it hit a full 104F and only go into pause mode once 104F is able to be fully maintained a while, then kicks back on at 102f. This lets you actually enjoy them at ~102f vs. ~100f with this. One tip is to look an hour before using and see what the temp is, and if the heater light is solid or flashing. If it's flashing then it is in heater pause mode and will be 101-102. If it's flashing, press the heater button so it goes back to solid, then the heater will kick on, and try to heat it until it touches 103. Then make sure it is solid still when actually removing the cover when it will then try to keep up the best it can for temp with the cover off. The instructions are not that great, either search for "Wave Swift rigid foam hot tub correct install video" (identical product sold under another brand) on YouTube to get a better visual of the connection installation. We also had the pump unit fail immediately but we got the warranty insurance when we got this exact model from another site, so if you DO want a portable hard side and are OK with the slightly lower temp this could be a decent buy under 800 bucks IF you also get the insurance. ... show more
