This is a very cute and well made doll. She does certainly look realistic, and she is a great children's toy. She has a sweet face and is a real baby sizes doll. Her torso is not realistic, however. It is a soft, cloth bodied doll. I believe since it is not a correct, anatomical body that means it is not considered a reborn doll. It works great as a realistic doll for older children, and with everything that it comes with, I would say she is worth the money. ... show more

This little one (I call mine a girl) is about the size of an actual baby. It's plastic everywhere but the torso which is padded and stuffed making it very huggable. The ad says it's poseable, but it's not. Even the head doesn't turn. You can move the arms and legs at the place where they attach to the torso fabric, but you can't straighten out the legs any more than you can an actual newborn baby. The hands and feet of the baby have French manicures! It comes with a lightly magnitized pacifier that I like so the baby doesn't have a forever hole in its mouth. Also included is a disposable diaper, a drinking bottle with measurements on it, and a birth certificate for you to complete. The face looks so real that when I pulled the doll out of the box I quickly removed the plastic so it wouldn't suffocate! It has "real" eyelashes and very thin blond hair has been painted on and it, too looks real enough. It has a wrinkle under the chin and two wrinkles on the back of the neck, and that also adds to the "real" look. The baby wears a onesie that snaps between the legs. There is room in the onesie for a newborn diaper if you want. There are light shades of pink on the cheeks, lips and knees and ankles. Buyers of handmade reborn babies will likely take issue with this or that, but remember that this doll does not cost $3 or $400 dollars! The posted price for this doll puts it more in range for many buyers! I recommend getting a small receiving blanket to tuck into the box if you're giving this as a gift. This doll is for all ages, 3+. And . . . don't feel embarrassed if you can't bring yourself to give it away . . . ... show more
