I had high hopes for this lens, but I expected too much as the quality of the images were blah. I use manual focus most times anyway and even though the item focused alright, the end product just didn't cut it. Lacking any detail in the photo or crispness, and cropping to make it larger would just emphasize how poor the photo quality really was. So, I returned this item and replacing it with a telescope which I am sure will produce more clarity in my photos as well as providing the crispness and detail these photos are missing. I also thought the zoom tube when extended had a lot of wobble even with the tightening ring barely loose. I never bothered with the Converter at all. ... show more

    • Not worth the money.
Very difficult to operate. So shaky on a tripod I couldn't take a decent picture. You really need to Know what you are doing. Not for a beginner looking to take nice pictures. I have a nikon cool pix camera that takes alot closer pictures.

    • Not great, but not totally bad.
A lot of the pics have a lighter circle in them, because of the way the lens picks up light or something. Some pics do not have it, so assuming it's has to do with the light. I am still learning, so it is a good lens to learn with, since it is not too expensive.
